BEST WEDDING EVER
MovieTVRomanceFan18 March 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This wedding was so worth the wait. After so many years of waiting the day had finally arrived for Kensi Blye and Marty Deeks to finally become husband and wife and everything about this episode was amazing from start to finish. It was funny, action packed, emotional and above all it was absolutely amazing and beautiful. This episode was so funny to watch as Deeks was nervous throughout the entire episode from pre wedding jitters to the arrival of Anatoli Kirkin and his appearence made the episode all the more hilarious.

There are so many amazing things about this episode, but one of the best was the reveal about what was in the mysterious Box Kensi gave to Deeks so many years ago way back in season 4. The Box was revealed to have contained the wedding ring of Kensi's deceased father, Donald Blye along with a letter Kensi wrote to Deeks, expressing her love for him and revealing that she always knew they were meant to be and that this day would come. It was truly one of the most emotional and beautiful moments throughout the episode. However, the surprises and happiness didn't stop there. One of the Biggest surprises was the long awaited return of everyone's favourite Operations Manager, Hetty Lange and I gotta say... It's About Time.

As for the action, there was plenty to go around as almost everyone on the team got to do some fighting and it was just great, especially Kensi fighting the bad guys in her wedding dress. The other great moments presented in this episode was the introduction of Kensi's friends and Callen and Sam reassuring Deeks. However, my favourite moment of all was the moment we have all been waiting for when Kensi and Deeks finally became husband and wife and it was absolutely beautiful.

Overall, This Is One of the Best Densi Episodes Ever and It's an Episode I Will Forever Hood Dear and Close to My Heart!!!

Awsome and silly as it should be!

Warning: Spoilers
What can I say? A long awaited epsiode that has arguably been built up for a number of years now and I can't say that I didn't enjoy it.

Could it have been more serious? Of course. But you know what, Deeks isn't the serious one and Kensi isn't either when she is with him. Obviously the point with this episode was to make us laugh but not all without tears since the ring, which Deeks got after (finally) opening the box, was an extremely heart touching moment.

All in all this episode was what it wanted to be; funny, silly and packed with just the right amount of action. We finally got to meet Kat, Mindy, Mandy, Tiffany, and Tiffany, plus Hetty's marvelous and totally badass return to the show just made this episode even more joyful to watch.

A perfect NCIS LA wedding!
sakura_saku20 March 2019
This episode has everything that NCIS: LA does so well: great action, great humor and banter, great pacing, great character moments and development, and strong continuity and callbacks. From the first second it's evident that the whole cast and crew put a lot of thought and care into making this episode as special as possible and a true treat for the fans. It was well worth the wait!

A bit strange but great ending
ned-reed18 March 2019
The show this whole season rambled with many new people coming and go. It's was ok but like all of the NCIS shows, just not what it was a couple years ago. The last 10 minutes of this episode made me very happy though!

Refreshingly light.

Warning: Spoilers
Really tired of Right wing militia terrorist plots....nice break. EXACTLY as campy as you would want in a Blye/Deeks wedding episode....don't be a hater, laugh a little. It is only TV. And Heddy's entrance was perfect. I did have to laugh that she performed the ceremony!!! Glad she made it! Almost like they expected her! 😁But that's TV🤣🤣🤣😁

I'm fine, yes you are
christine-swan20 March 2019
Best line ever, Sam tore his tuxedo shirt taking down the bad guys and Roberta Deeks is stitching the rip while he's wearing the shirt. She accidentally needle-pokes him, causing him to take his shirt off (can we say buff?) a spot of blood on his under shirt causes her alarm and worry, to which he replies "I'm fine". She pulls back, takes a long look, rests her cheek on her palm, smiles, and says "yes, you are". This had us falling out of our seats. Was this ad-libbed? Sam. Wow. This episode was a romp, not the usual, and very much enjoyed. Hetty's arrival was outrageous and unexpected. While her sub is okay, we hope she is seen more often.

Stay tuned for the special "guest" star
cpotato101018 March 2019
Warning: Spoilers
First off, let me say that I HATE the idea of "shipping".

Maybe in a soap opera, it would be expected that coworkers would form a romantic relationship, but why for every drama on TV that has an unmarried pair of coworkers do we expect them to get married? Can't they just remain good friends?

If you wanted a fancy marriage, go watch a soap opera, this is not that show.

Also, newsflash! - men do have doubts, especially if they are marrying a goddess like Kensi Blye, as embodied by Daniela Ruah.

That said, despite the MacGuffin of the "kidnapped" Russian (who WAS annoying), this was a stellar performance by Daniela Ruah. I think she was actually channeling her own wedding, she looked radiant.

I also think the rest of the actors were genuinely happy, with the addition of the special "guest" star.

The only oddity was when the "guest" star first appeared, it looks like it was filmed in front of a poor rear-projection of the guys. Either that or there was a little too much dust in the air.

btw, I think that one of the bridesmaids may have been an un-credited Kimberly Shannon Murphy, who is Daniela's stunt double. She is the one who hits the thug (that Kensi is trying to choke out) on the head with a bottle.

Light hearted episode
Saving2127 June 2020
This episode was supposed to be light and not full drama bc of the theme of wedding of the main characters, especially Deeks that is the one who adds the humour to our team. The episode finally focused on our team no new characters and was good mix of romance drama humour and action. Everything mixed well. The showing up of Hetty in the last minutes was what we wanted. Perfection.

About time it finally happened!!!!
tarwaterthomas9 July 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Never mind that some bad guys tried to crash the wedding, Kensi and Deeks finally did it! They finally got hitched! And Hetty Lange officiated at the nuptials. I wished Harm and Mac could have done the same, but Shane Brennan and Scott Gimmell had other plans. Bah. Well, half a loaf is better than one. Still, this was one truly outstanding episode. And I'm glad that Gimmell and Brennan decided not to wait until us viewers had one foot in the grave and the other foot on a banana peel. That's all.

Till Death Do Us Part
bobcobb30122 May 2019
Warning: Spoilers
You know that some people will love the wedding just for wedding sake, but it didn't do much for me. The buildup to it was forgettable as well.

This may have been a big, cover of TV Guide, moment for NCIS: LA, but this is not something that hardcore fans probably liked, even if they love the Kensi/Deeks dynamic.

Disappointing
nanwhidden18 March 2019
I have only written a review of a show once before, but I simply had to say the following: For ten seasons the relationship between Deeks and Kensi has been developing slowly. Women who watch this show were anxious for them to finally admit their feelings and get together. The wedding was hyped and we couldn't wait for this day. Actually, I'm watching the show as I write this. I could not wait before stating how disappointing, actually silly, it is. Deeks was incredibly annoying with his "am I doing the right thing" attitude, breathing heavily to calm down, etc. It's the night before the wedding and he's not sure? The rest of the story was incredibly stupid, filled with characters who were not important. (The Russian guy was annoying). The wedding of the season deserved a little more seriousness and attention than the last few minutes of the episode. It was treated more like a joke, with Kensi fighting off paid assassins in her wedding gown two minutes before the ceremony....of course, ripping the bottom of her gown off! Really?! This is the best they could do for a show that has been consistently good for 10 years?

Slapstick?
estenpet18 March 2019
Darn....This was by far the worst episode of NCISLA in its 10 year running. It was like watching a slapstick movie. Sure the episode had some nice and even touching moments but as a whole it was just bad. Very bad... Hopefully the next episode is better. Well, it can't be worse.
