BAD
29 June 2020
This was really bad. I found the first movie tolerable, but boy did these just go downhill from there. I'm gonna keep this super simple because this movie is really simple. Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) and Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) get married right off the start here. Everything goes well until Anastasia's old boss Jack Hyde (Eric Johnson) starts stalking her and seeks revenge for getting fired in Fifty Shades Darker (2018). That's it I really don't need to go into this more. The movie has some terrible acting, a thin plot and some of the worst dialogue I've ever heard uttered from someone's mouth in a film. This movie's trash, it has nothing going for it. I'm obviously not the target audience here, but this movie was an hour and 50 minutes long and 45 minutes in I thought two hours had already gone by. Definitely, a trilogy of films that I will never revisit again.

Masaan (2015)

Best movie I have ever seen.
29 June 2020
At once a both smart and powerful film, Neeraj Ghaywan's "Masaan" is a very fine film for our generation. A youthfully entertaining drama about love and curiosity, this is a film which shall be remembered not for how it rattles our tranquility, but for how it shakes the core of your heart. And that's the best compliment I can afford for an Indian film in recent times. It's the best Hindi film of the year- and easily the most compelling one. Don't miss it.

Traffic (2000)

Good drug cartel movie
11 June 2019
Traffic is well organized and extremely engaging film largely from a star studded cast. Benicio Del Toro takes home an Oscar with a brilliant performance as Javier a Mexican police officer who is just trying to get by. Soderbergh knows what he is doing with the ability to control the cast and their characters and uses innovative techniques such as an interesting use of color. Soderbergh creates well in-depth stories that connect with poise and a certain wit that only Soderbergh can create.

Interesting movie

Saw this film on Netflix. Really liked it. Some people may not like this kind of movie, but its a complete engaging film. Great work by the director. Watched a genuine Horror movie after a very long time. Twisted and intense, Lupt leads you down many paths before you reach its shocking conclusion. Well written and well directed film. 6/10

EXTRAORDINARY !!!!
5 May 2019
A brilliant mathematician but anti-social person by the name of John Nash begins having some new acquaintances with whom he seems to achieve the most important work of his life. He marries his beautiful and caring wife and starts secretly working for a mysterious person in an attempt to break a powerful encryption.. The complex subject of schizophrenia is explained in a way I have never seen before. Around this central theme, another very moving story evolves of true love by an incredibly courageous & wise partner as played very convincingly by Jennifer Connelly. The special traditions and customs of a typical upper class University add yet another fine flavor to this superb movie. Well deserved awards, but too few as Russell Crowe is simply magnificent :)

Pulp Fiction (1994)

Masterpiece
5 May 2019
Pulp Fiction oozes humour, romance, violence and stylish flourishes. It remains compulsive viewing throughout; even as it threatens to get submerged in its own complex structure. . Pulp Fiction may be the single best film ever made, and quite appropriately it is by one of the most creative directors of all time, Quentin Tarantino. This movie is amazing from the beginning definition of pulp to the end credits and boasts one of the best casts ever assembled with the likes of Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth and Christopher Walken. The movie redefined the action genre and reinvigorated the careers of both John Travolta and Bruce Willis. This movie is required viewing for any fan of film.
