Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023)

Fun movie

I watched it last night at Randolph showcase cinemas deluxe. It was fun, good effects, Ford did an excellent job. I go to a movie to escape from this Crazy world for a few hours which this film did a tremendous job doing! So I recommend you go see it! And don't listen to movie critics judge for yourself. As for cookie cutter storylines, well the business has been running out of original story ideas for years. Just look at all the old television shows being rebooted. Old movies being remade. They will probably try to do a remade of Citizen Kane next! I remember hearing somewhere long ago a woman was being interviewed about the great depression of the 1930s, I remember the journalist asked her what help her and her friends get thru it. And her reply was I never missed a Clark Gable picture. Movies are truly a amazing and almost magical thing.

The Pope's Exorcist (2023)

Fun movie better than I expected

I watched it on Tuesday April 18th at Randolph showcase cinemas deluxe at 2230hrs. I wasn't expecting much on a movie made on a 18 million dollar budget. But I actually enjoyed it the special effects were actually pretty dam good, the storyline was interesting, the acting top notch. Good location shots. A little humor here and there, very loosely based on a real person which is always a good tag line for a film. The growd I was with seemed to have liked it. It would be nice to see more of this character in more movies and adventures with the popes top demon hunter. The ending left it wide open for more stories, with the cuckoo Priest.

Willow (2022–2023)

Fun

I just finished watching, the first two episodes of this new series.

As a fan of the movie, oh man has it been that long? Over thirty years ago the movie directed by Ron Howard hit the big screen!. Wow. This new series is looking fantastic! Warwick Davis reprised his roll of Willow, and quite a few familiar faces pop up here and there. A very imaginative storyline, coupled with a great cast make it another can't wait for the next episode, did you watch it last night talk around the workplace water cooler on Thursday mornings. It is early in the series but if the first two episodes are a forbearear of what is to come.... Hold on to your seats.

Interesting to see several child stars of the 60s togethers. Which make this interesting weird 60s film watchable . Terrible special effects especially when you watch it on Bluray.

Good film,fun, dark, great animation,and an excellent villain. I just watched this for the first time on Disney+ it is a prime example of do not listen to the movie reviewers and critic's opinions!

Always watch the film yourselves and then make your own decisions.

We watched this last night in IMAX, a little bit slow at first, but with a stellar cast, excellent costumes, and fantastic Egyptian setting make this a overall fun movie.

Very good movie. It should win some awards, but knowing the narrow minded people in the business wink wink nudge nudge the people of the Academy. This little gem will be overlooked!

I went to see this on a whim, noing nothing really about the plot, and found it rather entertaining. Nice bit of narration by Julie Andrews. Good to see Pierce back on the big screen good cast.

I loved this when I first saw it in the 70s, and I still enjoy it in 2021. Mako is great such a versatile actor. The special effects still hold up very well after over forty year's.

Excellent casting! cheers to the casting director, well written, costumes sets, props spot on. I watched a few episodes so far, and have not been disappointed. So fascinating to watch a production based on an actual person. And it all fits together so dam well! Cheers!!!!

I just finished watching this on TCM. I was alittle sceptical at first, but I thought what the heck I've never seen it before, but I actually enjoyed it, nice action good all-around casting. And seeing John Wayne driving around in a 1973 Firebird is pretty cool.

After reading some reviews I decided not to go see this film, but after some friends told me about it, and that it is really good I decided what the heck and spent my hard earned money on it. And I was not disappointed. A really fun and entertaining movie. Great special effects and visuals. I was so impressed with it I might consider going to see it again next week. Which is something that I never do I was that impressed. So much for reviews, word of mouth will sell this movie. Great film.

I just saw this in IMAX 3D, I was a little sceptical at first, but was encouraged by a friend who had see it on Saturday. I was surprised it was a really good movie. Great special effects, well written and directed. I just might go see it again, I found it that entertaining. And it is extremely rare for me to spend my hard earned money on a second screening of a film.
