As goes the appropriate official tagline: "Imagine having this guy for a friend"
9 October 2023
I decided to watch this movie because only there's actress Phoebe Cates in it... I rented it on Amazon Prime Video and watched it completely, I'm not going to lie I became somewhat depressed when I realized that the green guy have been inspired by me but anyway I would take more from Phoebe Cates than from someone else, I don't care at all about her being involved in that movie and in fact as someone who suffered of "Mad Love" about someone myself I find this such a tragedy for her especially at the end the problems with her parents I became all emotional... It's true that I was a little brat like that WHEN I WAS 11 YEARS OLD AND SICK OF MAD LOVE AFTER 1986, I PREFER BART SIMSPON WHO IS A MORE APPROPRIATE DEPICTION... It's kind of stupid to present a sane grown-up adult acting like that trisomic and furthermore I was acting like an excited moron on purpose because I was revolted against my family and the bullying I was enduring at school, I was exhausted at the time, you could ask my excellent friend Wendy how I really was when a child before 1986 she could give the right time... Overall for what it is on it's own merit it's not a bad quality movie at all, Phoebe is excellent in it she prove she don't need to be in a bikini to be interesting, it have an interesting story and beside anybody who think 2 seconds would see that the green guy is a caricature and a spoof nobody would be like that in real life... Personally I wasn't bored at all and the story is interesting, technically the acting the directing is good quality, IT'S A GOOD QUALITY MOVIE...

Mean Girls (2004)

Excellent "chick flix" if you like that kind of movies
8 October 2023
Personally I never thought of Lindsay Lohan as a very good actress to begin with who shines in what she does, about 20 years ago after seeing the excellent 2006 Robert Altman masterpiece (IMHO) "A Prairie Home Companion" I was left on the impression that she plays basically herself, that she don't have any enthusiasm toward her career and just don't want to be there... By curiosity since it's widely considered the best Lindsay Lohan movie I decided to watch "Mean Girls"... For one thing it's definitely what we call a "chick flix" written by a woman and made for womans, if you want a movie about high school teenage girls being mean with each others in all kinds of possible way that is the best movie you could possibly make in my opinion. There's plenty of very beautiful and cute actresses it's a delight to watch, it's very well competently directed, the dialog is clever, but overall it's more like a "Clueless" knock-off but with all the.spices and flavor removed... Nothing happen except abunch of teenage girls doing mean things to each others... To say the truth I watched the first 1 hour and decided I had enough, if I find this boring it's useless to watch it completely even out of politeness for Tina Fey and Lindsay Lohan, NOT MY KIND OF MOVIE...

"Long and boring with a few good ideas"
29 September 2023
I wanted to see this movie since it came out in 2015, maybe something was bothering me about it (or maybe I had a hunch regarding what it would be so I wasn't in a hurry)... In any case I waited until today to watch it, one of the reasons is that I wanted to be in a good mental state before watching it; for the last 20 years I was in such a depression watching a movie was just plain painful I had huge difficulties concentrating I wasn't enjoying movies at all... Finally I remembered about it today and thought I needed to see it even if only as a courtesy and to get myself an opinion about it, so rented it on Amazon Prime Videos... We need to give to Ceasar what is due to Ceasar, the directing is absolutely flawless it's total perfection, the sets, the filming location in a small town in France , the camera plans... But the story is complete garbage it's worth going to the trash wihout any consideration, in fact I recommend everybody to avoid this piece of garbage at all cost... I started watching it and after some time I realized that I was bored to death, so I checked and I was 15 minuts into the movie, and I realized the only occasion where it caught my attention is when the barman said "...when you really love a woman, you do more for her than for yourself"... I had decided to endure it at least until 45 minutes but after 30 minutes of that I decided I had enough... So I didn't watch it completely but I say avoid this it's a mega waste of time, and if you've seen it and managed to find any entertainment value in it I suggest you don't brag about that and don't tell it to anybody...

Pfff that's complete garbage, but Anna Kendrick is excellent in it
4 September 2023
I bought this on DVD today because it had actress Anna Kendrick in it, at 7$ the DVD was somewhat expensive for my budget and also I kept in my mind that at least 75% of all those small story-oriented movies that have been flooding the market since 20 years ago are made my complete incompetents who don't even realize that what they make is garbage, you have to tell them... If you decide to make a movie and you don't even know the difference between a good movie and a bad movie, that mean you're an incompetent because if you don't know what you are doing and you don't care about what the viewer want your movie become a gamble, if someone at the studio greelight a movie they should care about making something good quality-wise... A few years ago I bought the DVD of "Saving Mrs. Banks" because it had Tom Hanks in it, I never laughed of all my life because it was so ridiculous, and then when I wrote publicly about my disgust for that woman peoples around me were angry they accused me of hating sociopaths, I had to justify myself... So I bought this DVD also because it was from the "Sony Pictures Classics" studio it gave me confidence because that's the branch of Sony Pictures who's supposed to make all the high-quality movies... But look I'm not even going to try to explain the story is garbage, the acting is garbage but Anna Kendrick is excellent, everybody else is pretending they're not professional actors, the actors in addition of being complete amateurs they are ugly and I'm serious the way I see things a professional actor need to be pleasant to watch and brilliant. The'res a reason why they gave Mel Gibson 20 Millions dollars for each movie, actors who are born with the gift of being actors, who are very intelligent and beautilful at the same time like Anna Kendrick and one in a million, you can't replace them with anybody and expect a good movie... In any case avoid this garbage at any cost.

Totally overrated
14 June 2019
I was reading other reviews written by other users, and almost everybody who are praising this movie as being a masterpiece or the best thing since sliced bread and bask at how great and timeless it is can't give much of an explanation about why they love it so much... They heard about the good reputation this movie have and that everybody liked it so they like it too without thinking... When we begin to go deep under and take the movie for what it is, read the opinions of peoples who know the world of cinema and military we begin to read about all the flaws this film have... The story is about a few American soldiers who are captured by the Communists during the Korean war and are brainwashed into unwittingly becoming killing machines... The Communists then let them loose in New York City and they live a normal life because they don't know they have been brainwashed... When their communist "agent" call them and give them a certain code over the phone, their eyes begin to glow and they go kill someone... That plot is so dumb, unrealistic, unbelievable and laughable even for the 60s that they used it for the 1988 movie "The naked Gun" with Leslie Nielsen, that plot is so stupid it work better in a comedy than a serious "thriller"... The only thing that is worth praising regarding this movie is the extremely competent directing by John Frankenheimer who did what he could with the script he had... The main problem with this movie is the script, I haven't read the book it is based on but as they say when it's not on the page it's not going to be on the screen... It's not because it star Frank Sinatra and Laurence Harvey that it's automatically good... Overall I say I've been entertained enough to watch the movie completely, but I wouldn't recommend it...

Excellent quality French farce made by an American
18 December 2018
For one thing if there's one bad side to this movie is that in my opinion it didn't age very well, today in 2018 it's kind of humor is probably not for everybody but I'm certain that in 1961 a film like this would have been practically considered a masterpiece and one of genius Billy Wilder's best movie... For example when James Cagney's character enter the room full of German workers each one of them get up and salutes him because they were working for The Fuhrer in the past during the war... Getting everybody to salute exactly at the same time as they do must have required a lot of preparation and know-how... In any case it's 1000 time better than Wilder's poorly made and unwatchable "Some Like It Hot" with Marilyn Monroe, her only bad movie in my opinion... The whole movie is a parody of typical American businessmans; the story is about a stereotypical businessman who is Coca-Cola's Chief of operations for the city of West Berlin in Germany played by the genius actor James Cagney, his boss the chairman of Coca-Cola ask him to watch his seventeen-year old spoiled daughter for a few weeks... Everything work fine for some times but then the rich daughter secretly fall in love and marry a Communist factory worker from East Berlin.... A huge part of the humor reside in the fact that all characters in the movie speak very fast, it's one sentence after another for two hours, I don't think everybody has the brain required to follow all what is said through the movie and especially by James Cagney, who must have a phenomenal concentration ability to play such a role... All this give the impression that Cagney's character solve all the issues quickly as "one, two, three", hence the title... Technically the directing is nothing but flawless, it's Alfred Hitchcock quality, the movie is in blakc-and-white but they really took the time to always place the cameras exactly at the right place to get the best angles and things like that... The writing is also excellent for a movie made in 1961... Overall I give this movie a 9 out of ten because the jokes are sometimes easy...

Interesting
12 December 2018
For one thing I think this Hugh Hefner documentary is quite complete regarding the content, after watching it I think I learned all there is to know about Hugh Hefner; Hefner really open up when he's interviewed, there's plenty of archive footage, newspapers clippings and Playboy Magazine excerpts in it that are shown to shown to the viewers... But I can't get over this feeling that more could have been done, in my opinion this documentary is cold, there's absolutely no emotions in it... When we compare it to a masterpiece like Hollywood producer Robert Evans 2002 biography "The Kid Stays In The Picture" we can understand that a lot more could have been done to make this a real powerful work of art... In the Robert Evans documentary there's plenty of beautiful powerful music, the pictures are vivid and look as if they were created by a real painter it's a real eye candy and there's a narrator who guide us through the whole picture, all this help make that an unforgettable documentary... In this Hugh Hefner dodumentary there's plenty of peoples interviewed but there's nothing to glue them together, the viewer is left assembling the pieces of the puzzle bhy himself which demand a lot of concentration, I think doing it that way cases the viewer to make extra efforts to understand the story... If a narrator would have presented us on a gold platter what is important to remember in the story like they did in the Robert Evans biography watching would have been somewhat less difficult... I may seem picky but as goes the saying "the devil is in the details"... Also they presented us a lot of interviews bits with various peoples but no one was really important, who cares about what Pat Boones or Gene Simmons have to say about Playboy, in my opinion Hugh Hefner would have deserved interviews with former presidents, Clint Eastwood and David Letterman for example... Overall I would say this Hugh Hefner documentary is well researched and worth watching, but it's a shame nobody did the real official Playboy worthy documentary that Hugh Hefner deserved before he dies... This is more a cheap made-for-TV movie rather than a professional Michael Moore-like feature...

The living proof that you actually can shine excrements
13 November 2018
I bought this movie used for 2$ so I don't feel too much ripped off, but oh my God what a stinker... I fancy myself as someone who like movies and a connoisseur, the bad side of it is that now when I see a movie I tend to only see the structure of it, I can't easily let myself drag along by a story, I will always be more preoccupied by the camera shots, the quality of the acting and the colors I see on the screen... When I bought it I see that it was directed by the brilliant Mike Nichols who's a genius director, and that it was produced by Scott Rudin, for whom 99% of his movies are hits... For this one I couldn't even watch more than the first 40 minutes before calling it quit, I've watch half of the movie and nothing had happened yet... According to the back of the DVD box the story is about two couples who have infidelities and who mingle with each others, but it's so badly written that the viewer is left wondering why things are happening and we're left wondering if what we believe happen is really what we're supposed to understand... When we look at the screen the mix of colors are perfect, but oh my god the writing of the story, the writing is so utterly lousy and incompetent it made me wonder how all those A-list actors and director could have been convinced to make such a stinker... The quality of the acting is completely miserable, but in my opinion we need to pardon the actors because they obviously did what they could with the emotionless and senseless material they had... I decided it was worth to write a review for this piece of crap because I wanted to underline how it's perfectly possible to make shining a piece of excrement like and make the average Joe believe it's a good movie by adding some credible actors and staffers, and by directing it in a way that make believe we know what were doing and that it's quality...

Nice movie but not very deep
13 November 2018
I bought this movie because it was being sold brand new in it's wrapping for 3$. These days I'm on the lookout for movies dating from the 80s or early nineties specifically, but generally speaking I'll watch anything made before 1995 when movies became more or less garbage like 99% of the music... When I see bargain-bin deals like that before buying it I look at who produced it, who directed it, who wrote it and which studio made it, this always help to get an idea regarding the quality of the movie... It's not that I don't want to pay it's more about not wasting my time, and lately I've lost time (and money) watching insipid, boring and actionless romantic comedies written by girls where nothing happen during the whole movie... I don't think I'm being sexist, it's just like that a fact, many of the boring "Chix Flix"movie I've watched lately have been written by girls, the perfect example is "He's Just Not That Into You (2009)" with Ginnifer Goodwin, I bought the dvd in the bargain bin and couldn't watch more than 15 minutes before I needed to be ressucitated by the paramedics, I was convulsing in my own vomit... This 1990 movie "Postcards from the edge" have been written by actress Carrie Fisher whom whole career is having played Princess Leia in "Star Wars", so I figure Star Wars fans would give this movie a cult status like everything else she did... It's an autobiographical story telling the relationship between Fisher and her own famous mother Debbie Reynolds...On the plus side it have been directed by the brilliant Mike Nichols, just having him as a director maybe saved the movie, A-List actresses Meryl Streep and Shirley MacLaine are both absolutely brilliant and entertaining... The story is a superficial look at the Hollywood lifestyle and the parties, as I said the look is very superficial but fair and true to the real life... Overall I would say it's not for everybody, the story is a little bit all the same over and over but being someone who like movies and the whole Hollywood life I would say I've been entertained enough to finish watching the whole movie and like it...

Not a quality remake
30 October 2018
For one thing I must say I have not seen the original 1959 French movie this remake is based on, but in my opinion French writer Francois Truffaut and French director Jean-Luc Godard are both masters in the field of cinema who have been well-known and respected in France for decades... I was trying to find a sentence that could resume what I think of this remake, and it could be "the devil is in the details", as goes the saying... There's many flaws in this remake but the main problem in my opinion is that they tought they could take the original 1959 story who was set in the fifities in France and apply it directly to the 80s Los Angeles USA, but of course then the story doesn't work very well... The main character is a sociopath, in the remake he appear clean-cut and nice but he steal cars without any remorse, break the lock of the apartment of some girl he almost doesn't know and then she become attracted to him, doesn't have any permanent residence and basically totally let himself go and doesn't care about anything at all... In the original 1959 movie who was set in the fifties all this would make sense, because it was the era of James Dean, "Rebel Without a Cause", it was when we begun to see rebelling bad guys with leather jackets riding motorcycles becoming part of the folklore.. Those guys would be popular with girls who were attracted to such rebels... In the 1983 remake set 30 years later in 80s Los Angeles the mentalities would have changed, I don't think such a guy would be seen as that romantic by anybody and especially not a girl... In this remake the girl who's a clean-cut university student in design hesitate between Jesse the sociopath and another clean-guy respectable guy; Jesse drive his car recklessly through all the movie, steal almost 5 or 6 of them, he's ignoring red lights and almost causing an accident 20 times, but the girl is beginning to like him for that... again the the early 50s in France that would have been possible, but in 80s Los Angeles? One time Jesse is in the girl's apartment and the girl receive a call from the other guy, Jesse is so angry he throw the answering machine up the windows... 5 minutes later the girl is so steaming they have sex... Overall maybe I'm too picky and can't buy anything, but even if I managed to finish watching the whole movie I don't think this is a quality remake, they should have paid attention to the details, in the original 1959 movie the character is played by Jean-Paul Belmondo, who's roughly in the same range as Mel Gibson, he have the credibility to portray such a rebel, not Richard Gere the romantic... Badly miscast!

Boring and empty, overall not a great documentary
11 October 2018
To begin with I must say that I loved Michael Moore post-2005 documentaries "Sicko", "Capitalism: A Love Story" and "Where to invade next", all three are great, powerful and whether you're a democrat or a republican the ideas told in these are bound to make you pause and think. At the opposite I didn't like at all his 2004 George W. Bush documentary "Fahrenheit 9/11", I don't understand at all all the undeserved hype around that documentary since it was obviously quite empty, not well done, boring and there was nothing new in it that wasn't already available in the newspaper or TV News. I did go see "Fahrenheit 11/9" at a theatre and strangely I didn't have high expectations for this sequel, as if I knew nothing more could be said about Donald Trump. This documentary is essentially divided in about three parts; at first they talk about Donald Trump's presidential campaign, nothing unheard of here, then there's a part about the 2015 water scandal in Flint, Michigan where we see what appear to be mega-****bag the crooked governor Rick Snyder purposedly ruining the water supply of the city then organizing a cover-up, then the third part is about the West-Virginia teachers strike, who stopped working because they had low wages and Governor Jim Justice wanted to have them wear Fitbit wristwatches at all time to control how much exercise they were doing... There's nothing in this movie regarding Trump before his presidential campaign, Michael Moore have a great research staff so at least they could have shown us some interesting biographical tidbits about Trump that could have helped us make a opinion about the true him, instead they spent time comparing Trump and Hitler which is unfair and not very insightful...Overall this documentary is empty, uninsightful, boring and there's nothing new in it... There's only about 4 or 5 really powerful moments in the whole documentary, a much more powerful documentary could have been made regarding incompetent Barack Obamas's presidency and how he failed miserably to deliver what he promised...

Hail, Caesar! (2016)

For the astute viewer, a masterpiece and the best film of the year
25 December 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Personally I never always really knew what to do with the Coen Brother's movies, like "A Serious Man" for example... The directing is always flawless but the story is colorful to say the least... I decided to buy this DVD because of my current passion for Julius Caesar, the Coen Brothers doing a movie with this subject I had a hunch it would be great... The movie is like two days in the life of fictional character Eddie Mannix, who is boorish and kind of a "problem solver" for the studio... The movie is a little bit like "Pulp Fiction" in the structure, it's a lot of small independent stories and the link between all of them is the character of Eddie Mannix... For one thing the script is so clever if you're not really a subtle kind of person you're going to miss much of the dialog, it try to be cartoonesque but serious at the same time... For example one of the first scene of the movie is a dialog between manner-less Eddie Mannix and four religious authority figures regarding what is Jesus and is he God, and later we see the character of George Clooney being abducted by a group of Communists, all in the same movie... The directing is masterful, the colours, the sets, the choice of actors and the acting are all flawless and made with artistic sense... Overall it's easily a 10 out of 10, bad reviews come obviously from users who didn't understand anything to the very fast-paced dialog and story, and don't have any sense of humor, which is required to appreciate this picture...

An homage to beauty in general
24 May 2014
Personally I liked all of Denys Arcand movie I saw, I've seen "L'age des Tenebres" four times at the cinema and then some more when I bought the DVD... I had some expectations when I heard this movie was coming out, and I must say I haven't been disappointed at all, even if I believe this is maybe not a movie for everybody... There's no real story who would make the film worthwhile by itself, I believe that to appreciate it the viewer must immerse himself in all the beauty depicted in the picture; beautiful actors inside and out, beautiful and picturesque countryside, beautiful music all along, beautiful buildings, beautiful sex scenes with beautiful naked womans... I think this movie fit right in Denys Arcand's style, I think if you liked his previous movies and are not too superficial in your expectations you won't be disappointed at all... It's kind of a poem, filmmaker Sofia Coppola tried to do something like that with her 2010 movie "Somewhere" about the relationship of a rock star and his young teenage daughter, but in my opinion she missed her shot in a gigantic way compared to this one... In her movie there were things like 5 minutes of strippers doing nothing but dancing at their pole, I understand we're supposed to immerse ourselves into the protagonist's world but there's a limit to feeding boredom to the viewer... Overall I didn't see the time fly watching this picture and I didn't come out of the screening room of the theatre, so I suppose it will be entertaining for at least some persons who appreciate beauty, like me...

Not THAT bad
21 April 2013
To begin with it should be said that this movie is not THAT bad, it has qualities; personally I think peoples need to watch it in order to make themselves an idea... As far as I'm concerned I don't know why but I stopped watching in the middle... Maybe in the 80s in a time where pornography was uncommon this picture and the basic story behind it would have been considered hard but today we see beautiful bodies and eroticism everywhere on TV in prime-time, this movie had no chances of surviving the years... In my opinion the problem is not actress Bo Derek but the little flaws present here and there; at the end there's so many that it makes the movies hard to follow and we tend to not take it seriously... Overall it look like a film made by an amateur; the heart is there but it really lack professionalism everywhere except the acting by Bo Derek...

Who would want to see that anyway
14 June 2012
I rented this direct-to-video movie because there's Alicia Silverstone in it, and honestly I really don't understand at all the choice of making bizarre things such as this or her movie "True Crime" for example... Who would want to see that anyway, these are the kind of things I wouldn't be surprised to see if coming from writer/director Roger Vadim and actress Brigitte Bardot during the 60s before he made quality things, but not from the actress who made "Clueless" in the 90s... The tone of this one is really more inspired than Roger Vadim's movies of the 60s, it's an imitation who's more artistic and less serious, but still... In any case anybody who like rough sex or seeing a babysitter named Jennifer (played by Alicia Silverstone) in a bath full of white bubbles should watch this, otherwise it should be skipped at all cost; there's no story and no acting at all except for Alicia Silverstone...

The cops have been warned of the dying father's drug consumption
12 May 2012
Warning: Spoilers
I didn't really have a good impression of this picture so I didn't see it even if it won an Oscar for "Best Foreign Film". I expected the usual boring low-budget story of the guy on his deathbed whom family come remembering tearfully the good times of the past in flashback. Personally I preferred the movie French-Canadian filmmaker Denys Arcand made in 2008 following that one, "L'Age des Ténèbres", which I've seen at least 4 times at a local cinema. But this one is definitely among the best to come out of the city of Montreal. It's a completely fictional story but even I don't think I should be put to sleep, there's still things I would want to do with my life (the question would be more if any pain I may have to endure would make it worthwhile), somehow I relate to the sick father who accept the inevitability of death and accept it the day his family begin injecting him heroin illegally. I think everybody have to see it to make himself an idea, there's not much more to say without giving away spoilers except that it's really entertaining and there's not much risks of being bored watching it...

Entertaining and easy to understand, but a bit too long
30 April 2012
I've seen this movie at a theatre mostly because of the always extremely funny Francois Damiens, even if the story seemed interesting. Overall it's a good entertaining picture but in my opinion more of a "chick flix" made for woman viewers, some peoples like me might find it a bit too long. Basically the story is about a woman named Nathalie who is in love with her boyfriend when he die after being hit by a car... Her boss named Charles Delamain try to seduce her all through the movie, but she always refuse saying he's not her kind of guy. Finally she meet Markus, and something begin to blossom between them. Audrey Tautou is very competent as Nathalie whom she portay with energy, which is not the case for Francois Damiens who is really sleeping and don't add much... Overall it's still 5 times better than atrocities like "La Graine et le Mulet" whom I couldn't bear watching more than 30 minutes, but in my opinion it's still a bit too long, considering it's only an average love story movie...

Suburgatory (2011–2014)

Someone has been miscast
14 March 2012
I'm usually not a fan of TV series, but I watched a few episodes of "Suburgatory" because Alicia Silverstone have a small part in it. At first I tough it was only glorifying stupidity, especially watching Jane Levy in the role of Tessa Altman who is horribly miscast here, but I decided to continue watching it even if only to see Alicia. Jeremy Sisto is excellent, and he seem to be a very nice guy, but his character have more of a supporting role so it's not enough to make the show pleasant to watch, however I tough they had something... While watching episode two I was trying to find what was wrong with it when I remembered seeing actress Missi Pyle for a few seconds at the beginning of episode one in the role of a waitress, it's evidently the perfect actress to play "Tessa Altman", she would basically being herself... I gave the show a 4, but with the crazy writing and Missi Pyle (real name Andrea Kay Pyle) playing Tessa Altman in my opinion it would become at least a 7, but more probably a 8 or even maybe a 9... Also as I said Jeremy Sisto is very good, but I'm not sure he's the right person to play George Altman, they could at least try adding a touch of craziness by putting actor Jason Gray-Stanford instead, he played the clumsy Lieutenant Disher in the TV series "Monk" but he's capable of playing a more serious character than that...

Excellent comedy, you will like it unless you're homophobic. ** Small spoilers in the following comment**
10 April 2007
Warning: Spoilers
This is an excellent movie, the story is very original and all the characters are extremely well cast and give a flawless performance, especially Michel Serrault as Albin the drag queen and Michel Galabru as Charrier the hysterical conservative politician. The characters are gays but it's presented in a way that makes the whole movie funny to watch, it's not some kind of pro-gay propaganda... I bought the DVD only because the movie was written in part by Francis Veber and I loved his movie "The Dinner Game". The story is about a gay couple owners of a gay night club called "La Cage Aux Folles". One of them had an affair with a woman one time and that one-night stand produced a son. One day his son come to tell him he is marrying a girl whose father is a conservative politician who hate gays, so the son ask his father to pretend to be heterosexual when he first meet his girlfriend's parents, but trouble occur during the dinner... I won't give too much details but at one time Albin the drag queen lover show up and try to pass himself as a real woman, I found that part not credible at all, anybody is able to distinguish a man from a woman, especially in this case when he have to speak... The 1996 American remake of this movie goes even farther with the drag queen dancing with a man who believe he's dancing with a woman... It's an insult to the brain... Overall I give this movie 7/10. I recommend seeing the sequel "La Cage Aux Folles 2" even if you don't liked the first because the story is very different, I would say that the sequel is less gay, more serious and have more of the "Veber touch"...
