Top Gun: Maverick (2022)
Awesome
Can honestly say well worth the 36 year wait. Tom Cruise at his best. After watching the original the night before I can honestly say the sequel is far better with a much better storyline and the plane sequences are far superior. Amazing movie and well deserved of its 10/10 review!!!!
Christmas Wonderland (2018)
A good idea but bad execution
I really don't normally like to write a bad review as I take a movie for what it is, good fun. But I can't overlook the bad acting of some of the main cast, especially the lead actress. It's a shame because some of the secondary parts are good actors.
As a Xmas movie it does what it says on the tin, it's feel good and set at Xmas suppose I shouldn't ask for much more, but there is better out there, trust me I've watched.
Bones: The Man in the Fallout Shelter (2005)
So like 2020
I've seen this episode quite a few times over the years but decided to re watch coming up to Christmas. The quarantine aspect of it really hit home. I personally haven't seen some family members at all in 2020 so Christmas takes on a special meaning this year. I think it's a one to watch in these times.
A California Christmas (2020)
Pleasantly surprised
Wasn't expecting much when I saw this on Netflix, what I got was a lovely Christmas movie. Yes it's predictable but still well worth a watch. The two leads have amazing chemistry which was explained when I found out they're married in real life, Lauren swickard also wrote the film.
The Big Bang Theory: The Change Constant (2019)
Finally a worthy ending
After watching another series ending disappointingly I was apprehensive going into watching this series ending hoping that it was a better ending. I wasn't disappointed it was a fitting end to a brilliant show. It made me well up and laugh in all the right places. The appearance of the children made me smile and the cameos were well received. In short I loved it!!!
Grey's Anatomy: Silent All These Years (2019)
What a moving episode
This is greys anatomy at its best. Such a well written and acted episode, I'm glad they kept it about jo and what happened to that woman. The scene with all the women lining the corrridor was so moving I was brought to tears. Hope this episode shows someone out there that they are not alone and help is there if you ask.
Unforgotten: Episode #2.6 (2017)
British drama at its best.
Not going to give any spoilers but have to say unforgotten is one of the best detective shows I have seen for a long time and the ending was brilliantly written and acted especially by Mark Bonnar who played Colin. Can't wait to watch the next series
