Gore and funny
22 April 2013
Well, sure it is not like the two previous "Rec". However, it has its good moments. For zombies fans like me, its just another cool flick. Quite a splatter and also there are moments where it gets quite surreal and really funny. I found the direction and the special effects quite good, though this movie could have been much more atmospheric and scary. The script, the actors and the roles are just OK. Unlike the two previous "Rec", here the camera is shaky only the first minutes of the film, so it will not get you dizzy. On the whole, I'd say it is quite an entertaining film, but if you are not a zombies fan this in not a movie for you, you will hate this for sure.

Mystery, mystery, mystery!

Great scenery while a strange research in the woods, a weird and aesthetic mix of mystery and paranormal, quite surreal as the talking log gets a role here! Question marks about Laura's friends... Why would they want the clues...? To help or to hide sth..? Hmmm...we'll see. Of course, the mystery goes on in that episode... The story goes on with much suspense, as Mr Horne holds another secret (?), so he offers a surprising scene for us in the middle of this episode...! Also, Audrey unrolls her talent so greatly. Actually, there is such a surprising, loving, strange and humorous scene at the end, regarding Ms Audrey!!! Almost sure you'll want like crazy to watch the next episode just after this! Enjoy!

Very strong!

Strong film about domestic violence, abuse, fear and friendship. A must-see film for everyone. The actors are really good, the atmosphere changes from cold and ghostly to warm, sweet and humane and the other way round, so you somehow feel like getting a "Scottish shower" of feelings. Even if that film left me with a rather bitter taste on my lips, I would recommend it to everyone. Some may even cry... so be prepared, because it is quite strong. Also, I wouldn't recommend to watch this film with very small children, because the scenes may really hurt them. I would recommend this for ages 13+, but don't show it to small kids, it'd be like torture.
