Julayi (2012)
A game of an ego
After the disaster of khaleja (commercially) Director Trivikram Srinivaas came with a beautifully molded Crime action comedy. Allu Arjun with a different look and ease in his performances took the film to a different level. The story revolves around a robbery committed by an ex-minister who want to spent the money in his next elections. Unfortunately, the money was missed and the antagonist caught by police with the help of Protagonist. The antagonist ego hurts. How the protagonist fought with the bad ass and surrender the stolen money to police is the remaining story. As usual the punchy dialogues of writer cum director Trivikram Srinivas was nice and crisp. The music of Devi Sri Prasad was perfect match to the director vision. And the last, A perfect mind game.
Pulp Fiction (1994)
High Voltage Crime Flick
First of all ,We have to talk about the non-linear story-line,punchy dialogue, mix of humor and violence. Intersecting story lines of Los Angeles mobsters, fringe players, small-time criminals, and a mysterious briefcase. A perfect example for Neo-noir type film. Later of this film, the way of watching and making films were completely changed. John Travolta, Samuel L.Jackson,UmaThurman and others played a vital roles and gave their performances well. Directed in a highly stylized manner, and highly influenced other directors too. inspiration for many later movies that adopted various elements of its style. Maybe, every country with film making background made a film inspired by this. Quentin Tarantino made a benchmark in world cinema with his style of film making and step ahead.
Fight Club (1999)
Post-modern film
A masterpiece for post-modern films. A Brilliant screenplay with a stunning performances makes an ultra modern film in 90's. I seriously assure those who didn't watched this flick missed some of life lessons which will help to understand their life. You can spare your two hours time for this flick without any hesitation. Chuck Palahniuk's novel based film. Basically the author of this novel is an post modern thinker too. In my opinion, it's the best film in David Fincher film career. i came to know there is controversy about the violence in the movie. But, comparing to recent flicks its far away from strong violence content. Brad Pitt and Edward Norton gave their ultimate performances.
