Cyborg Nemesis: The Dark Rift
I've not seen this film at all! But I have to rant a little!
I've not seen this film! I can't find it anywhere! I'd be happy to see whatever the bits and pieces the other reviewer saw. I'm a big fan of Nemesis and Cyborg and Pyun's work and style. I'm really sad to hear of his dementia and passing.
I'm really hoping someone will pick up this project and finish it!!
It sounds like it came so far and, come on! Someone out there in TV land can pick this up and get it over the line. I would do it if i could!
For me it's become a wish list item.
1. I wish someone would make Ulysses 31 into a live action 3 part IMAX film. Using 9 stories of the original series, to make up 3 full length films. (Neill Blomkamp, come on fella, you're obviously a fan).
2. Bring the Buzz servers back online or start a new Buzz service so we can all enjoy the online sofa games again. Its been years and we all still miss those fun times.
3. Pick up Cyborg Nemesis and finish the job. Its Pyun's last gig!
Thanks for reading if you did. Happy new year 2024!
Star Trek: Picard (2020)
The 3rd season is really great! Why stop now?
That's all i wanted to say really. First season was okay but didn't feel very original Roddenberry ST style, which is, let's face it, what we want in essence.
Second season was not so good but as ST fans, let's face it, we'll basically watch anything they stick a Star Trek logo on.
Third season, let's face it, It's f##kin fabulous!!
It's a kind of TNG / Voyager mash up.
The current story line is so good, they're clearly going to have to rush it, and quite possibly cheapen the experience, to cram all that good stuff into the predetermined 10 episodes.....
Unless they make the last season longer...
Or give us more seasons...
Go on, we'll watch it :) ;)
Janet Jackson. (2022)
I thought i was really interesting and I'd recommend it
It was just really good. We live in UK. I've been a Janet Jackson fan since i was a boy. One of my first albums was Control. I loved Rhythm nation, but i kind of tuned out around velvet rope album era, and the NFL opening show thing.
This docuseries covers so much i didn't know about Janet and she tells Her Story. I found it really insightful both by what is said, and what is not. I always enjoyed Janet's work and always saw her as independent from "The Jacksons" as a product. This docuseries shows me how difficult it was for her to do that.
I'm really pleased they put this show together.
Worth a watch.
The Batman (2022)
I enjoyed it, won't watch again. 1hr too long really.
Yes I enjoyed it, especially the first 90mins, but after that it just dragged on for me. 1hr too long in my opinion. It's not a film I'll need to watch again. So great action scenes of cinematography. Patterson was great. Some scenes did remind me of The Crow.
The Adam Project (2022)
Enjoyable film but I found the relationship with the boy quite odd
Yes, enjoyable, just leave your brain on the seat next to you. The usual not complicated SyFy time travel fun story, but.. I found the relationship between the 12yo boy and his parents very odd! In fact, he was unusual to me.
Although not credited with being super smart or gifted in some way, this child is quick witted, silver tounged and able to converse with adults better than we can!
His relationship with his parents and the way they treat and speak with him is as an equal and on a level that I wasn't comfortable with.
I realise this is the age of internet and over awareness, but this film shows me how children of this time, have been forced to become adults and deal with adult theme and issues due to our technological surroundings, and that the innocence of childhood is over too soon!
Hollywood Homecoming: House Party (2021)
31 years later!! Aaarrrhhhhh 😚
I just wanted to say thank you to all involved in making this XX I'm a massive fan here in the UK, and to see all these wonderfull folks faces again, It really feels like a reunion. Great to hear their stories and see the love is still there.
My only complaint is that Tisha and Lawrence couldn't be there, and that there was no mention of House Party 2!..
So how about a reunion for that as well? 😁😀
Thanks again x.
Your Honor (2020)
I didn't like it
The whole series is based on a situation that unfolds in the first episode. The way the characters react and deal with that situation, is bizarre and unrealistic. So for me, the story was flawed to begin with, and then all subsequent scenarios are too. The son of the judge has a really annoying character. We gave up at episode three.
The Conners (2018)
Finally took the plunge and watched it!
My unbiased review..I really like it! I'm so happy!
I have been a fan since the beginning. I'm the same age as the Conners kids so it's like we grew up together. I love all the cast. I know Roseanne has a big mouth at times, i do not believe she's a racist, and i feel she has been made a kind of scapegoat, or as to distract public from other issues or person.
But, The show must go on!
I decided i wasn't going to watch the show, but now I've had some time to calm down, and i really enjoyed it. This new show has the same feel and texture as the original. It's funny and topical as usual, but without Roseanne.
The first episode did make us cry a little, as Jackie is trying to deal without her sister. But we laughed together and new stories start to emerge. I have a good feeling about the show and I recommend it if you are a fan of the Conner family.
The End of the F***ing World (2017)
Season One is fantastic. Season Two is polar opposite!
Yes we loved season one! It is such a great show! Watch it to the end and then went straight back to the start, and watched it again. You can watch the first season and leave it to it's natural ending. Job done.
Season Two became quickly boring and seemed to have no real objective but to sponge money or whatever, from the fan base of season one. It really was a waste of our time. Season One A+. Season Two F-.

Fringe (2008)
Excellent program, really enjoyed
Yeah, i read some reviews here and i felt the same way with regard, becoming dis-interested during the 1st season! I was watching, and i did like it but, toward the end of season 1, i was wondering where all this was going and thinking i was wasting my time with it, especially with all the other great TV shows around at this time. I gave up with it.
A year or so later, a friend of mine who carried on watching, told me it gets a lot better and encouraged me to start again. It is a disjointed watch, but it all starts to come together mid-season 2. Seasons 3 and 4 are my favorite. I realise now, that the story is like a ride. The characters are just as unsure as the viewing audience, where this whole adventure is going, and we're all in it together. The dis-jointed start only proves to consolidate the end game. Doc Bishop is a STAR! lol.
Will miss the characters. Thanks for a great show :)
Weeds (2005)
Great show but i'm glad it's over
I watched it from the start. The first 3 seasons were excellent! After that it started to change, i liked season 4 and 5, but the last 3 seasons i had to persevere with it. It was a crazy ride but i'm happy to get off here! Thanks for a great show guys! I laughed till i was almost sick on many occasions, mostly thanks to Uncle Andy, Uncle Doug, Dean, the great Guillermo, Kat, Heylia James and Lupita. :) And special thanks to Megan for showing off your sexy body on many occasions, i flushed many socks.. I have the 1st 3 seasons on DVD, and i'll be keeping them. I'll miss you most of all Uncle Andy, you have been a great source of enlightenment to me and your positivity though your fictional character, has helped me see the brighter side of many a dark street in real life! Cheers everyone XX
The Cabin in the Woods (2011)
Awful
I cant imagine why the other reviewer said this film is outstanding. I saw it last night (15th April) and it was awfully poor. The advertisements would have you believe it's a horror or scary, but it is not at all. One of the main characters humorous personality, was the films only redeeming quality! I feel strongly that this was falsely advertised!!
I also feel it's wrong that IMDb will only allow reviews of 10 lines or more. I really don't have any more to say about this movie! I feel it's putting people off leaving honest reviews, and leaving the door open for people affiliated with the movie to say it's outstanding, when it really is not! IMDb: please allow us to leave comments less than 10 lines long, so we can get on with our busy lives and help try to stop these film makers falsely advertising in order to take our money
Skyline (2010)
Fantastic fun and entertaining movie!
I recently watched Battle LA and Skyline. I was told by my movie friends on Facebook, or rather, I read their reviews that these films we're cr#p and not worth the trip to the cinema. Mainly due to the plot being so thin. I am so disappointed!! I've always been a sci-fi fan, and I really enjoyed these films. I hope to see more of these movies and I WILL watch at the cinema next time. I found the plot to be totally acceptable and believable: Aliens from space have come to destroy humanity and we have to fight them. It's an action movie! What more plot do you need! The best part for me is the FX! They are AMAZING! Very entertaining, fun and exciting! (I only wish they had shown The Battlestar Galactica pilot movie at the cinema too!) :D
Battle: Los Angeles (2011)
Wish i'd seen this film at the movies!!

Your Highness (2011)
No thanks
I just read a review on here stating that this is a good film!? I can't understand why as it is very poor... I read it's made by the same group that produced pineapple express, so that say's it all for me. I have a sense of humour and fun, but this kind of humour just isn't humorous for me. Their's a scene of Natalie Portman's bottom, that part was good! I just cant understand why Actors such as Natalie Portman and Charles Dance would get involved in a movie of this level? Must be the money. Also, i think it unfair to ask film fans to submit 10 lines of text every time we're good enough to leave feedback and reviews! It's too much! Sometime folks just don't need all that info! Can you reduce it to 5 lines or something like that please?
