The Wrong Missy (2020)
Sexual assault is NOT FUNNY
I tried to watch this movie with my parents and walked out of the room half way through. On two occasions throughout the first half of the film (I will not finish it), the film's titular character preforms sexual acts on David Spade's character while he's asleep. Last time I checked, that's sexual assault. And both of these incidents are intended to be funny?
Let's put it this way, if it was the other way around and he was assaulting her, NO ONE would be laughing, but because a man is being assaulted by a woman, it seems to be okay. SPOILER ALERT: IT'S NOT!!!!!!
Hellboy (2019)
STOP COMPARING IT TO THE GDT FILMS!!!!
I don't know why the critics are giving it bad reviews. They keep comparing it to the Guillermo Del Toro films and saying it's nothing like them, it's not supposed to be. It's supposed to be a hard R-rated action movie. It's supposed to be campy, gory, and cheesy. And it works.
David Harbour > Ron Perlman
Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014)
This is what a three hour orgasm feels like.
Michael Bay's transformers movies have been bashed by critics and some of its fans, but this installment does not deserve any of the hate it's getting! The story and tone are unbelievably intense, the cast is superb, and the action sequences are visually stunning (especially the Chicago and Hong Kong battles).
This feels like a completely different movie than the previous three films. Most of the immature humor from the original trilogy, which gives this film a much more serious and adult tone. The violence is heavily amped up, This is not a transformers film for its newer and younger fans, it's clearly made for its older fans that way he'd the show 20 years ago.
If you can only see one movie during summer break, see this, film, and if you see it, see it in the largest, loudest theater you can find. You won't regret it.
P.s. I have a massage for all of the Michael Bay haters: please stop complaining, these movies will keep being made even if you complain.
The Avengers (2012)
Overrated
I don't know why this movie was so popular, it had zero story, and simply felt like it was a comedy. That is one of my many problems with this movie:
1. The movie might as well have been called "iron man & friends" the entire thing just felt like Robert Downey Jr. trying to get attention.
2. The action sequences were completely unoriginal, the battle of New York just felt like a copy of transformers 3.
3. The aliens didn't actually do anything. All they did was blow up cars and fly around.
This movie is passable, but completely overrated.
Family Guy: Life of Brian (2013)
Emotionally epic
In this episode, Brian, the talking, pot-smoking, alcoholic canine dies after being hit by an on-coming car. While this move is rather surprising due to the fact that family is almost never serious, and you usually don't need a box of tissues. Brian's death scene is handled perfectly, it was completely out of nowhere, and depicted as what would happen if the family dog is suddenly ran over. The death scene is rather short, but just as effective as if it was dragged out through the entire episode. His last lines, although simple, are truly heart-breaking. As he lays dying on the operating table, his last words are "You've given me a wonderful life, I love you all."
