Sherlock: The Final Problem (2017)
Season 4, Episode 3

What's everyone complaining about?
16 January 2017
This season started of disappointing, giving us an episode that would have been good on most TV shows, but not Sherlock. But they were able to pull it back with a fantastic second episode, one that felt more like the Sherlock we all know and love. And now the season finale has come out and a LOT of people are complaining. And I really don't see why. Maybe the show has gotten so big that people feel the need to criticize, maybe people are nitpicking like crazy, or maybe most people enjoyed it and what we're seeing is a loud minority. Either way it doesn't deserve half of the hate it's getting. This episode was full of brilliant dialogue, great twists and gripping tension. I was on the edge of my seat through parts and it's done through the fantastic writing, acting and directing we've come to expect from this show. And the way it builds on the characters we've known for years is the best part of it. Every episode of Sherlock is unique in it's own way, and this one focuses, more than any episode i think, on the morals and ideals of the characters. With great twists, emotion- and tension-filled moments, and the usual fantastic production, I give this episode a well deserved 10/10. If this is the lowest point that some are claiming it is, it's still better that 90% of the TV shows out there.

Incredible

Warning: Spoilers
What can I even say! This is without a doubt the greatest episode of Game of Thrones. I was expecting an amazing battle but THIS. Every part of the episode was great, every emotion was conveyed perfectly, I was crying and cheering nearly the whole way through. I personally think season 6 has been one of the best seasons (episode 8 being the odd one out) and this was the best episode of the season, hands down, even better than 'The Door'

A lot of people have been saying the show is doomed without GRRM (mostly overreacting to episode 8) but I strongly disagree. This has been an amazing season and this was the best episode. Next week's episode will probably not top this one which makes me hope people won't be overly harsh on it. I for one am confident for the remaining 14 episodes until the series end.

Well done D&D! You have beautifully picked up the show where GRRM left it. Despite all the hate they've been getting, they've done a fantastic job and this episode just proves we're in good hands.

Why I don't listen to theories
13 June 2016
Warning: Spoilers
I really enjoyed this episode and disagree with the hate against it. I thought it was (as usual) well written, performed,... While I do sort of see how people think this episode made Arya's story pointless, I don't fully agree. I think most people are mad because they heard the theories and expected something more, an example of how overthinking things can ruin those things sometimes. Arya fought the Waif in the dark because she had experience with not seeing, it's simple and feels good when you see her head in the hall of faces. And when it comes to the Blackfish stuff I think that's mainly a book thing that made people mad. Which I can understand but remember that this is its own show. Enjoy the books and enjoy the show but keep in mind they're both doing their own thing.

So I think this was a good episode apart from, admittedly, the Arya stuff being a bit of an anticlimax. But I loved the Tyrion scenes, the Jaime scenes, the King's Landing scenes, the Hound scenes, all in all another solid Game of Thrones episode
