If it were possible; i would give this film a zero rating. not only is this the worst movie i've ever seen; it's one of the worst THINGS i've ever seen. watching this film was pure punishment.

the road to hell is paved with good intentions

After the last cutie mark crusaders episode we had this season; my expectations for the next one were pretty damn low. however; marks for effort more then made up surf and/or turf being average by being a clever episode. this episode breaks the typical cutie mark crusaders storyline(the crusaders need to help somepony but are incapiable due to problems of their own but learn a lesson that helps them). while they are helping somepony; they are helping said pony with something that they know all too well. it is a clever story. also; it is funny as hell. from the crusader's attempts to get into the school of friendship to starlight and her "empathy coco", this episode has me rolling on the floor; unable to control myself. overall; it is not only a giant improvement from the last episode of the season and the last cutie mark crusaders episode of the season; but I dare say that it may be my favorite episode of the season(but we are still smack dab in the middle of season 8 so we'll just see).

a change that doesn't change anything

Over the course of the show's lifespan; we've had some big changes made to the status quo. twilight becoming an alicorn, the cutie mark crusaders finally getting their cutie marks, starswirl finally appearing, ETC. all these changes had reasons to happen. however; I really don't see how spike sprouting wings really effected the show. now; it can be argued that all the dragons in the world of my little pony have wings so it seemed only natural that spike would grow wings of his own eventually. however; there have been actual dragons in mythology that do not have wings. also; just because a character growing wings was important and groundbreaking the first time doesn't mean it will be the second time. aside from this pointless change; the episode was alright. the intro was good(though I don't know who peewee is), most of the humor is funny, the final battle with the roc is very good, and I'm glad to finally see zecora in season 8. however; the pointless change is what brings this episode down to a five star rating. I by no means hate this episode but word to the wise; if your writing for a show and you want to change the status quo...actually make sure that the change...well...CHANGES THE SHOW!

As an avid fan of comic books and superheroes; any show that reviews them is an instant favorite of mine. atop the fourth wall is easily my favorite comic book reviewing show. it is funny, insightful, and action packed. lewis lovhaug is a true genius and I hope he continues into the future. if you read this review lewis; good job dude.

Based on the excellent short story by Harlan Ellison; I have no mouth and I must scream is an expansion on the story. it features numerous characters to play as(each with their own story and in conflict) and the choices actually effect the game. also; Harlan Ellison is excellent as the voice of AM. so yes. I would recommend this game to people(if they don't mind a little disturbing imagery).

I absolutely adore this show. as an avid lover of all things movies; any youtube channel that is about movies has my undivided attention. not only that; but this show is funny. it's quite obvious that brad jones took inspiration from mystery science theater 3000 when he made this series. who would I recommend this to? lovers of movies, people who love humor, or just aspiring youtube critics looking to see how it's done. but steer clear of the show if you dislike jokes about religion or profanity. highly recommend it.

Fun fact: I actually just saw this episode yesterday. when I had cable; I was only able to watch the new episodes. however; thanks to the wonder that is Netflix; I can watch all the episodes from previous seasons. as a brony since 2015; I knew all about twilight's transformation into an alicorn so it wasn't a big surprise. however; there is a very good episode made around it. the songs are catchy(in fact; I think they should release a soundtrack for just this episode). and the plot is a clever one. I've heard that this was actually supposed to be the SERIES finale. although I question why they were planning on cancelling the show at the height of it's popularity(and after only 3 seasons); I think that this actually would have made a deccent finale. however; I'm glad that they continued to keep the show going. however; this is a good episode and one that I highly recommend.

This is easily one of the scariest short films i have ever seen. as someone who suffers from a fear of the ocean; this added to the fear of the film. i also like how it all takes place from the point of view of a police diver. this film will keep you on your toes till the last ambigious moment.

Going into this episode; I was thinking that it was going to be this awesome story involving the cutie mark crusaders, twilight sparkle, and the hypogrifs. sadly, it was just a moderately good episode. it did have beautiful imagery(the underwater city doesn't look as good as the movie but it still looks nice), there are some very funny moments, and I love the parrals with divorced familes. however; when you get right down to it; it's just a typical cutie mark crusaders episode that simply follows the same format of almost every cutie mark crusaders episode. plus, there is a lot of filler. although it isn't putting your hoof down bad by any means; it's still a pretty weak episode.

As a brony, I was very excited for this film. when it came out, I saw it with my friend's mom and her youngest daughter(since no one else was willing to take me though my grandfather probably would have had I asked). I was not disappointed in the slightest. it's very easy for a movie based on a tv show to feel like just an extended episode(fingers crossed that the family guy movie doesn't go down this route) but luckily, this film avoids that and passes with flying colors. I doubt there will ever be a sequel since the end of the tv series is rapidly approaching but if for some reason there is, all I have to say is this...SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!
