Couldn't imagine anyone else bringing this topic to the small screen

Ian and Ellen. The subject is HARD. It can and has been done badly over and over again by multiple news agencies, documentaries, reality shows etc. Which is why I rated this so high.

Their personalities, their friendship, their intelligence, their bravery makes this show excellent. The time and money investment by HBO, the producers and the hosts were exactly what this subject needs. Its not just about gay and trans and questioning lives its about the political climates, the social norms, the beautiful backdrops and the ugly places where non mainstream people are pushed. And its a truly global reach.

I learned a lot by watching this.

Favorite show of the millennium

This is one of the only shows that keeps me watching the CBS network at all. I am anxiously awaiting the end of the writers strike to get the next part of the season, give the writers more money already! The ones that write shows like this deserve it!

Without being redundant to the positive comments listed in other reviews I agree with most of them!

Personally I don't think the behavior of the "nerds" and the "regulars" are exaggerated. They are portraying the extreme 2 sides of the spectrum between book smarts (IQ) and social smarts (Emotional Intelligence) I knew people that represented both of these stereotypes when I was in college and beyond. Leonard seems to be somewhere in the middle, understanding more of the social rules than Sheldon, but not comfortable in Penny's world either.

I think it would be a lot of fun if Sheldon found a semi-permanent girlfriend!

**** Spoilers **** I also think this show is equally appealing to those who understand all the science jokes and those that do not. You don't have to know exactly what the Doppler effect is to think that Sheldon dressed as what many people would think was a zebra going EEEEeeeeerrrrrmmmm loudly multiple times at a costume party is funny!

My favorite part hands down was when Penny was putting together her entertainment center and was 3/4 of the way done by the time the guys laid out the plans to set up heat-sinks and fans and went to get supplies (titanium ?) to implement the plan. They had ruled out water cooling I believe.

Good TV

I love this show! Anyone who has ever dreamed of being graceful on a dance floor, or admired someone who was... will enjoy it as well.

No the celebrities are not always A-list actors, but the those people are usually occupied making movies to keep their A-list status.

Seeing people work so hard to do well at something they are not professionals at has been really fun. This is the only reality type TV show to catch my attention since the first season of American Idol, and its all made possible by the professional dancers.

My Favorite person on this show.. hands down is Ashly DelGrosso. Currently partnered with Master P, she has shown great poise and personality from last season to the current episode.

My only disappointment was the replacing of the female host from last season. I liked her a lot and am not impressed with the new woman they chose to take her place.
