a great horror flick. I am a devoted fan of the horror genre, and this is not the classic crap that comes out of Hollywood. This is what a horror movie should be: fun, bloody, and not take itself too seriously.

This movie was a great way to end the HP franchise, but something felt inside of me that they could have ended it better. Or could that just be me being disappointed that HP is finally over? oh well definitely worth a watch

OMG!! I can handle horror movies pretty well, but this made me jump quite a few times in the cinema! I was actually surprised how well they pulled this one off! I loved the whole idea of it being a prequel and it WORKS. Best paranormal activity out of the franchise. I can't believe i'm saying this but I can't wait for the next one!

This F&F film is by far the best one out of the series! I liked the idea of bringing pretty much everyone from the previous films together and making an EPIC! wicked action movie and make sure you watch after the starting credits.

I actually really enjoyed this one. Even though the first half is exactly like Carpenter's The Thing, it manages to entertain and still have that same feeling of who is the creature and who isn't.

Director: Steven Quale | Stars: Nicholas D'Agosto, Emma Bell, Arlen Escarpeta, Miles Fisher

Votes: 125,023 | Gross: $42.59M

WOW! talk about a Gorefest!! FD5 is a perfect way to end off a horror franchise that has gone on for too long. FD4 was really terrible, but they redeemed the series with this made-for-3D blood and gore spectacular! Incredibly humorous as well, and there will be one death that you will not see and will make you burst into laughter.

Votes: 432,152 | Gross: $352.39M

A lot of people hated this film, but I thought there was nothing wrong with it. Sure it was too long, but I thought the whole scenery of the city in 3D was jaw-dropping and it had great visual effects that kept it entertaining.

Votes: 321,064 | Gross: $165.25M

I'm not one that sees kid's movies in the cinemas but I loved the original Kung Fu Panda as it is really funny even for me. So I went and saw this one, and it turned out great! Ultimately it has that same humour we know and love from Po but also teaches great morals as well.

I know some people may be wondering why this is so high on my list as it was much hated. I havn't seen the original Conan so didn't have much idea wat it was about. I am a massive fan of gore and blood and this movie delivered spectacularly. If anyone wants to see a movie for only pure action, this is the one.

17. Green Lantern (2011)

Votes: 296,169 | Gross: $116.60M

I really didn't get the negative reviews from critics and other people. This movie was awesome! The action was great, in 3D the special effects were amazing, and I was waiting for a good, fun, tights-all-the-way, superhero movie!

18. Thor (2011)

PG-13 | 115 min | Action, Fantasy

57 Metascore

The powerful but arrogant god Thor is cast out of Asgard to live amongst humans in Midgard (Earth), where he soon becomes one of their finest defenders.

Director: Kenneth Branagh | Stars: Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Hopkins, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston

Votes: 900,417 | Gross: $181.03M

I love Marvel films, and this was a very cool film. I'm from Australia so Thor was released a week before everywhere else. BOO YAH! Aussie Chris Hemsworth does a real good job as Thor and the visual effects in 3D were great. However, I was thinking I would see something that holds up the same standard of Iron Man and IM2, but they still are the superior Marvel films. Still worth watching though, as it is thoroughly entertaining

19. Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)

PG-13 | 124 min | Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi

Director: Joe Johnston | Stars: Chris Evans, Hugo Weaving, Samuel L. Jackson, Hayley Atwell

Votes: 897,030 | Gross: $176.65M

I was kinda disappointed with this one. It was kinda the same disappointment with Thor but at a greater level. The whole movie felt like it was just stalling until the Avengers came out. Story is great, but come on this is Marvel! I wanted to see better action and a more fun movie.

20. Scream 4 (2011)

52 Metascore

Ten years have passed, and Sidney Prescott, who has put herself back together thanks in part to her writing, is visited by the Ghostface Killer.

Director: Wes Craven | Stars: Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Lucy Hale

Votes: 171,234 | Gross: $38.18M

I thought this was the best Scream movie since the first. I loved the twist at the end, and loved how silly some of the scenes were (such as the one with Anna Paquin, and Kristen Bell). I heard there is a good chance of a Scream 5, and I can't wait!

21. The Three Musketeers (2011)

PG-13 | 110 min | Action, Adventure, Fantasy

35 Metascore

The hot-headed young D'Artagnan along with three former legendary but now down-on-their-luck Musketeers must unite and defeat a beautiful double agent and her villainous employer from seizing the French throne and engulfing Europe in war.

Director: Paul W.S. Anderson | Stars: Logan Lerman, Matthew Macfadyen, Ray Stevenson, Milla Jovovich

Votes: 112,050 | Gross: $20.38M

This was an awesome movie! Purely an action film though, so don't expect much story involved but a funny, fun, action-packed film that is great in 3D. I loved this and I hope people will like it as much as I did.

22. Paul (2011)

57 Metascore

Two English comic book geeks traveling across the U.S. encounter an alien outside Area 51.

Director: Greg Mottola | Stars: Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Seth Rogen, Mia Stallard

Votes: 266,183 | Gross: $37.41M

I'm not a big fan of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. I didn't think Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz were actually funny at all. But I did find this one funny and who doesn't like too go and see a movie that doesn't make you laugh?!

23. Johnny English Reborn (2011)

PG | 101 min | Action, Adventure, Comedy

46 Metascore

Johnny English goes up against international assassins hunting down Chinese Premier Xiang Ping.

Director: Oliver Parker | Stars: Rowan Atkinson, Rosamund Pike, Dominic West, Roger Barclay

Votes: 140,883 | Gross: $8.31M

this craps on the first JE movie so muchh!! Great and silly story and freakin hilarious!! My favourite scenes were when JE was chasing the chinese guy, and the men's bathroom scene. Worth watching for a good laugh. No crude humour here if that's what ur looking for, just a good old-fashioned sillyness

24. Unknown (I) (2011)

PG-13 | 113 min | Action, Mystery, Thriller

56 Metascore

When a man awakens from a coma only to discover that someone has taken on his identity, he teams up with a young woman to prove who he is.

Director: Jaume Collet-Serra | Stars: Liam Neeson, Diane Kruger, January Jones, Aidan Quinn

Votes: 269,390 | Gross: $63.69M

I was expecting to see something more on the lines of Taken walking into this movie, but i was kinda disappointed. However, although this is not a insanely good action film, it is more of a thriller. I loved the twist at the end, and it is just a great film to waste a couple of hours.

25. The Green Hornet (2011)

PG-13 | 119 min | Action, Comedy, Crime

39 Metascore

Following the death of his father, Britt Reid, heir to his father's large company, teams up with his late dad's assistant Kato to become a masked crime fighting team.

Director: Michel Gondry | Stars: Seth Rogen, Jay Chou, Christoph Waltz, Cameron Diaz

Votes: 164,705 | Gross: $98.78M

the first time i watched this was in 3D. Then when it came out on DVD, i watched it also. In 3D, it is an awesome action movie with great fight scenes. In 2D however, it felt like a really average action movie. So if you want to watch this one, my recommendation is watch it in 3D

26. The Hangover Part II (2011)

R | 102 min | Comedy

44 Metascore

Two years after the bachelor party in Las Vegas, Phil, Stu, Alan, and Doug jet to Thailand for Stu's wedding. Stu's plan for a subdued pre-wedding brunch, however, goes seriously awry.

Director: Todd Phillips | Stars: Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms, Justin Bartha

Votes: 534,836 | Gross: $254.46M

Even though this one did have its moments, i didn't really enjoy it as much as the first one. I didn't find a lot of this actually funny. There is still some great humour in this one, and it is worth a watch

27. I Am Number Four (2011)

PG-13 | 111 min | Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi

36 Metascore

Aliens and their Guardians are hiding on Earth from intergalactic bounty hunters. They can only be killed in numerical order, and Number Four is next on the list. This is his story.

Director: D.J. Caruso | Stars: Alex Pettyfer, Timothy Olyphant, Dianna Agron, Teresa Palmer

Votes: 246,367 | Gross: $55.10M

I saw this one with high expectations as the trailer looked like it was going to be a wicked action movie. However, after watching this, it was just really average. I recommend to watch it only when it is on DVD otherwise you will regret it.

28. Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011)

PG-13 | 136 min | Action, Adventure, Fantasy

45 Metascore

Jack Sparrow and Barbossa embark on a quest to find the elusive fountain of youth, only to discover that Blackbeard and his daughter are after it too.

Director: Rob Marshall | Stars: Johnny Depp, Penélope Cruz, Ian McShane, Geoffrey Rush

Votes: 564,329 | Gross: $241.06M

This movie was so *beep* I had a decision to see Pirates 4 or Insidious. And i made a really regretful decision. The jokes weren't funny, it felt like it had no rhythm, and Johnny Depp didn't feel like his usual character. If you feel like you have to watch this do so, but be warned it is really crap!
