The first season is a gem. There's so many moments...so much empathy...so much confusion! It's a grand, bewildering and enchanting story that I cannot wait for more of.

REALLY getting into it.

Madison is going to be kick ass, I think. I also hope poor Griselda lasts the whole season...

4. Farscape (1999–2003)

TV-14 | 50 min | Action, Adventure, Drama

Thrown into a distant part of the universe, an Earth astronaut finds himself part of a fugitive alien starship crew.

Stars: Ben Browder, Claudia Black, Anthony Simcoe, Lani John Tupu

Votes: 40,310

THE BEST SCIFI series that I ever had the privelage of watching in my entire life. Farscape was a rare diamond in the rough among what has been offered on tv these past years. The cast and stories were awesome, the characters were loveable, relateable and interesting. It was fun hearing the different euphemisms that Crichton brought to this side of the galaxy and his alien friends. An amazing show to be sure. It put Australia on the map for me. Seriously.

5. Carnivàle (2003–2005)

TV-MA | 60 min | Drama, Fantasy, Mystery

During the Great Depression, an Oklahoma farm boy and a charismatic minister learn that they are key players in a proxy war being fought between Heaven and Hell.

Stars: Michael J. Anderson, Adrienne Barbeau, Clancy Brown, Debra Christofferson

Votes: 46,887

Carnivale was amazing. It had a great cast, interesting stories and above all, a secret history kind-of feel to it. It was a delight to watch. I miss it. :(

6. Firefly (2002–2003)

TV-14 | 45 min | Adventure, Drama, Sci-Fi

Five hundred years in the future, a renegade crew aboard a small spacecraft tries to survive as they travel the unknown parts of the galaxy and evade warring factions as well as authority agents out to get them.

Stars: Nathan Fillion, Gina Torres, Alan Tudyk, Morena Baccarin

Votes: 281,830

Who knew that mixing scifi, western and a splash of Chinese curse words would equal a great mix of amazingness. (Almost like Chex Mix!) Firefly was, to me, the second best SCIFI show that I've ever watched in my life. The cast was brilliant. The characters were divine. I helped rally for this show online and all of us fans got a movie made! :D (Serenity for those of you not in the know....)

7. Heroes (II) (2006–2010)

TV-14 | 45 min | Drama, Fantasy, Sci-Fi

Common people discover that they have super powers. Their lives intertwine as a devastating event must be prevented.

Stars: Jack Coleman, Hayden Panettiere, Milo Ventimiglia, Masi Oka

Votes: 251,710

It was like X-Men and a decent soap opera were thrown into a blender. It was full of excitement and newness.

The first season was a fan favorite and it was good, but all 4 seasons of the show were amazing to me. Everyone had to go and complain and the show was cancelled. It had AWESOME characters, interesting super powers, ideas and stories, though some were tangled webs of stories. I miss it greatly. :(

8. American Dad! (2005– )

TV-MA | 22 min | Animation, Comedy

The escapades of Stan Smith, a conservative C.I.A. Agent dealing with family life, and keeping America safe.

Stars: Seth MacFarlane, Wendy Schaal, Scott Grimes, Rachael MacFarlane

Votes: 136,367

American Dad! is my most favorite animated TV show. It is waaaaaaaaaaay better than the Cleveland Show and Family Guy has gotten dry...

American Dad's best comodity is its drinking, disguise-wearing alien cast member, Roger. He's hilarious and his many disguises offer an excitement of sorts, where you're wondering what he'll wear next. I love American Dad and cannot wait for new episodes of it to air! :D

9. Project Runway (2004– )

TV-PG | 60 min | Reality-TV

Aspiring fashion designers compete for a chance to break into the industry in this reality competition. Each week, a designer is eliminated from the competition after exhibiting their work in front of a judges' panel.

Stars: Nina Garcia, Tim Gunn, Heidi Klum, Michael Kors

Votes: 11,665

Project Runway is my most favorite "reality" program. It is always fun to watch. The show is an inspiration to aspiriing fashion designers. I enjoy hearing what the judges say about all of the looks presented by the contestants and I love to just see what everyone is putting out there. It is an amazing program.

10. X-Men: The Animated Series (1992–1997)

TV-Y7 | 23 min | Animation, Action, Adventure

A team of mutant superheroes fight for justice and human acceptance in the Marvel Comics universe.

Stars: Cedric Smith, Cal Dodd, Lenore Zann, George Buza

Votes: 49,052

The original X-Men TV series: I grew up watching this every Saturday mornign and have always had a strong affinity for the X-Men. This cartoon was way before its time to me. Possibly the best Marvel cartoon ever produced. (We all know that X-Men: Evolution was complete crap.)
