The old habit of casting films and plays with our own choices is never so fun as when all the world is our stage, time and age do not hinder us, and we can hope for fun's sake alone.

1. Cate Blanchett

Actress | Carol

Cate Blanchett was born on May 14, 1969 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, to June (Gamble), an Australian teacher and property developer, and Robert DeWitt Blanchett, Jr., an American advertising executive, originally from Texas. She has an older brother and a younger sister. When she was ten ...

So, who wouldn't love to see Cate as Ophelia, and Gertrude? Or better yet, ALL THE ROLES IN HAMLET. She would be brilliant in a one woman show. Dear Broadway Gods, PLEASE DO THIS.

Next, Let her be Blanche DuBois ON FILM. Tell me SOMEONE filmed it when she did it. IF NOT, Let's do a new one, and get her in the role.

OMG, she needs to play Amelia Earhart... NOW. RIGHT BLOODY NOW.

2. Thunderbird Dinwiddie

Actress | The Aerialist

Thunderbird Dinwiddie was born on December 22, 1973 in Anchorage, Alaska, USA. She is an actress, known for The Aerialist (2020), Supernatural (2005) and The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland (1999).

Never should have been passed up as Wonder Woman. REALLY. And can we talk about a grown up Batwoman... here she is DC. DON'T BE STUPID MAKE THE CALL.

3. Anna Kendrick

Actress | Up in the Air

Anna Kendrick was born in Portland, Maine, to Janice (Cooke), an accountant, and William Kendrick, a teacher. She has an older brother, Michael Cooke Kendrick, who has also acted. She is of English, Irish, and Scottish descent.

For her role as "Dinah" in "High Society" on Broadway, Anna Kendrick was...

She would make a great Ophelia, she looks frail, but can pack a punch. Also, pipes... a musical Hamlet would rock and this woman could do it; same same for a run in Romeo and Juliet as Juliet. Or Romeo, and have the incomparable @Rooney Mara as Juliet. That would work. Ok, HOLLYWOOD, GET ON THE SAME SEX RETELLING OF SHAKESPEARE'S BEST...

4. Necar Zadegan

Actress | 24

Necar Zadegan is a versatile actress known for a career on stage and screen. She made her Broadway debut when she originated the role of the Leper in Rajiv Joseph's Pulitzer Prize nominated and multi Tony award accoladed play " The Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo" opposite Robin Williams. She stars...

Possibly one of the most under rated actors I know about, Necar should get a chance at all the roles, but I would love to especially see her in some great action flick, as the action hero. Let's let her be the President who helps win the war in the next Independence Day. Bet she can smoke a cigar as well as Jeff and Will. Or, let's see her do Orlando. Not that Tilda didn't NAIL IT, but it would be nice to see Necar have a chance at the gender bending it requires.
