This was different because he really didn't give a dam whom he hurt, by any means necessary, and he wasn't quiet or shy about it. The action was different also, even though it looked professional there was a clumsiness about it that made it seem more real. Even though she had a very small role, I liked Valances' performance, seemed more natural than when she was in soaps. Funny as I'm watching this again, I recently watched the Family Guy take on this so remembered a lot. Lol.

Even I know that you don't turn your back away from the enemy! Repeated operative film, only difference is 30 minutes shorter and some tweaks, had a quality of 24 also. I will say because it was a Russian crossover it did give it more oomph and the music while she was taking them out was awesome. You know what? I thought it was all right, it was a pleasant surprise.

Mixed feeling about the scenes leading to the abduction. At the church they kept me guessing but explained it with the execution which was done well. The direction they then took was unexpected but welcomed, it became a really good storyline not unfamiliar to real life events, in my opinion. I liked it as I didn't ever see anything coming and the preacher was very creepily convincing.

Absolutely fantastic opening credits, may be the best I've seen. Didn't know what to expect but was surprised by this film. It delivers in an unexpected way stating that it's the heroes are more *beep* than the criminals, quite poetic. I'm still unsure as to whether or not I think this film was any good as it started quite slow, but as the plot thickened so did my curiosity. It's one of those films I would watch again but would ask others to watch and discuss to fully make up my mind.

The set up was so unbelievable, yeh, that could happen and it was so obvious who the ring leader was. Foxx and Tatum had good energy together which really gave the film a comedy aspect and Gyllenhaal gave a good performance. It was a Die Hard wannabe bu apart from the usual Hollywood bliss it was exciting and fun to watch

I want to like this but the jury is still out. Ben Drew is too young and not seasoned enough to give this role justice, although I have no problem with him. Loved the Heat style shoot-out but the actors playing the police weren't convincing enough during this act. I did like that the innocent bystanders got it instead of being safe, made it more authentic. The music and style was cool though. I would watch it again but was disappointed!
