Two girls go and seek revenge against the people that once held one of the girls captive. Can't really say anything else without spoiling it, except that they do get it and more. The last 30 minutes left me very depressed. it is hard to watch but good in the sense that this is what would really happen. No Hollywood escapism.

Banality of evil. The house is probably the best part, rundown little house where a butcher of humans lives, littered with bones and skulls. The most horrific scene doesn't involve any violence... but pure disgust.

Family is staying alone at a hotel built on an ancient indian burial ground. Makes you feel disoriented and confused a little... Beautiful to look at and frightening because of the main character's insanity. His wife comes across what her husband has been writing since in the hotel (he's a published author), it isn't what she expected and it spirals downward into murder.
