Chloe Urban A girl who is actually an alien from another planet; she was sent to Earth with her parents to see if the planet is suitable for habitation. On her home planet, she and her parents are a family of soldiers; on Earth, they adopted a Russian accent pretending to be from Moscow. Only the son, Remy, of her neighbor family knows the truth, and is able to keep the secret. Chloe senses a hidden psychic power within the boy, enough to rival her own.

Robert Valenti The Valenti family patriarch, Karen's husband, and Remy's father. He can be clueless sometimes, but he and his wife keep the household running. He works as a mechanic.

Karen Valenti Robert's wife and Remy's mother. She is a law partner at the fictional Clauser/Hastings Law Offices. She is the voice of reason in the household.

Remy Valenti Robert and Karen's teenage son. He is drawn to Chloe when they first meet, initially unaware that "Chloe" is not her real name or her real appearance. He happens across their secret - along with their technology and powers - by accident, and promises not to tell anybody - even his parents. Remy exhibits a radiance of untapped psychic power, and Chloe senses this, but doesn't tell him right off the bat. He helps Chloe live as an average teenager during her mission, and they have many adventures together.

Nina Urban Chloe's mother and a feared military soldier on her home planet. On Earth, like the rest of her family, she pretends to be from Moscow, Russia. She is very strict and authoritative, perhaps more so than her husband, but she can dispel the common alien stereotype and be very warm, as she gradually warms up to Remy and sees him as trustworthy.

Nikolai Urban Chloe's father, also a feared and respected warrior. He and Nina are the one who assigned the Urbans' mission to Earth. He is wary of Remy when Chloe starts to befriend the boy, even more so after the boy accidentally sees Chloe's true form. However, he does warm up to the boy eventually, slowly but surely.
