Nobody makes better year-end memorial tributes than TCM, but even they can overlook some important people. TCM Remembers has honored nearly 1500 performers, directors, writers, producers and film artisans since its debut in 1995, but there were many others who deserved recognition that inexplicably missed the cut. Below are the 100 most notable film luminaries that were somehow "forgotten" by TCM Remembers. The description for each individual will include their occupation(s) and the year they should have been honored (which for those who died in late December will be the year after they died).
