Leg 3 of The Amazing Race might be the very dud of a leg for season 28. Sure, the previous two legs won't ever qualify as the best in history but there was an entertaining back and forth between several teams. There was even some inner turmoil and arguments within a few teams (Ok really it was just Dana and Matt) which always makes for good TV. Dana and Matt are still arguing in leg this but it wasn't enough. The second Colombia leg was pretty uneventful. It's unavoidable though, even in the best of The Amazing Race seasons, there has to be a down leg.

Where We Left Off or: Moving Forward With A Lighter Load
This week's episode of the "very special" 28th season of The Amazing Race -- in which every team is chock full of YouTube and social media stars -- picks up right where last week's left off: on the Pit Stop mat.
For those following along at home, last week turned out to be a non-elimination leg with Team JuicyDad07 saved from being the first team out in exchange for having to face a Speed Bump in the next week. And for the uninitiated, a Speed Bump is a task that only the team it was given to has to complete. It's almost exclusively given to a team in a non-elimination leg to give them a slight disadvantage in the next leg.
Our venerable host Phil Keoghan asks the beleaguered Team JuicyDad07 what strategy they will use to make up...

Falling Skies returns to TNT in June. Now, if only they would put the first season on iTunes in Canada...
Cable channel TNT has announced premiere dates for the series in its summer schedule, which includes two of the coolest shows on TV: Leverage and Falling Skies. The slate also features returnees Rizzoli & Isles, Franklin & Bash and The Closer. These five continuing series will be joined by debutants Dallas, Perception, Major Crimes and the unscripted competition show The Great Escape.

Congrats to Top Chef for taking home an Emmy last Sunday and upsetting seven-time champ The Amazing Race! But the excitement only reiterated just how friggin’ awesome last season was. Last season’s chefs — the Voltaggio brothers and my girl Jen — seriously out-shine D.C.’s less-stellar cooks.
But I’m not going to get all negative Nancy on you because last night, we finally got — dare I say it—an exciting episode. All five cheftestants—Angelo, Kelly, Tiffany, Ed and Kevin — are pretty much on the same level, and the only thing separating them at this point is motivation,...

The worst scenarios for anyone who runs The Amazing Race involve either getting eliminated on the very first leg, or not finishing a leg. It's worse when both of these happen to you. That happened to Dana and Adrian, the high school sweethearts who were poised, for me at least, to make it far on the race. But Adrian's struggles with the Roadblock in Chile dragged them down, eventually putting them in last place.
I talked to Dana and Adrian after Sunday's episode, where we discussed that cable walking challenge, how their past struggles prepared them for the race, and how their children reacted to their run.

Being the first team eliminated on The Amazing Race hurts. It stings even more for Dana and Adrian Davis, who got booted off the 16th season premiere when Adrian, 40, couldn't complete the Roadblock: walking across a high-wire cable suspended more than 100 feet in the air. "I thought it was possible, but then so much time passed and it felt deserted," Dana, 39, tells TVGuide.com. "We totally identified with Maria and Tiffany [from last season] when they couldn't do the bell or the golf, and it was windy. It was kind of the same thing. Very disappointing. We knew it was probably over." The couple, who were high school sweethearts, also know they might still be in the Race had they stuck to their game plan. Find out what went wrong.
