In the beginning...Leverage was a great example of "organized chaos" (to "steal a phrase" from Rex Ryan, one of the more original defensive coordinators in the NFL). The plots were fresh and zany and...INTERESTING. Clearly, they've run out of ideas, and out of steam.
And while painteddaughter was generous to rate this show 5 stars out of 10, and called it cheesy, I'm rating it ONE star out of 10, and calling is garbage. The big "gun fight scene" was laughable, along with the never-ending unrealistic miracle "saves" that have become the staple of all of the plots. This series used to have heart, creativity, and intelligence. Now, it's little more than a human non-animated cartoon show. Meep-Meep.
