I've only seen the first season of the Sister Boniface Mysteries, so maybe the quality has changed from season two onwards, but as a big fan of Father Brown, I actually liked the first season of Sister Boniface Mysteries, and the cameo appearance of Father Brown helped inject that spin-off connection and was kind of an affirmation (I was going to say blessing) of the spin-off. Anyway, there is a certain charm in this, and I think the MVP is Tina Chiang as Sister Peter, so hopefully she can make more appearances. Perhaps there can even be a Lady Felicia spin-off series for us Father Brown fans.
