“I want to take this opportunity to let everyone know, don’t worry! It’s just a character appearance for my latest movie. The character requires me to have white hair, white beard and look old.”
The viral photos were from an event where Chan was on stage with a microphone. He was wearing glasses and clutching papers.

Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt, who is known for her work in films such as ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’, ‘Can’t Hardly Wait’ and ‘The Tuxedo’ among others, spoke about how she was sexualised as a teenager and the difficulties of aging in Hollywood.
Finding fame at such a young age came with its difficulties, and she opened up about her feelings during that time while speaking on ‘Inside of You’ podcast, reports deadline.com.
“I felt watched. I felt like I had to be everything for everybody all the time,” Hewitt said.
“I was called sexy before I ever knew what being sexy was. I was 17-years-old on the cover of Maxim, and I had no idea why.”
Hewitt also noted that she finds it “weird” when people want her to continue being the girl that she was back then, adding: “That girl was so insecure and so confused.

When we last talked, Ray Liotta was thinking a lot about mortality. “I’m at the age now there are some things you just forget,” he mused. “60 was a motherf*cker for me.” He was 64 at the time, soon to turn 65, but somehow his face, which once seemed older and wiser than its time, now seemed timeless. “Some people age better, and with some it’s like, ‘Whoa, what happened there!?’” he laughed.
“You’re like me,” he told me. “We look younger. You’ve got a babyface and you’re not lined. I have really oily skin. In high school it sucked because I had zits, so I have a whole complex about that to this day.”
He laughed with that twinkle in his eye that propelled his iconic turns in Something Wild, Goodfellas, Field of Dreams, not to mention Cop Land, Narc, Smokin’ Aces and Hannibal. He did plenty of forgettable films too,...

For as long as there’s been classic rock, there have been musicians more than willing to sing about their vices. Namely sex, booze, and drugs. As with so many other things they did, The Beatles turned songs about smoking pot into mainstream successes. Let’s look at their tune “Got to Get You Into My Life” and six more of the best classic rock songs about weed.
1. ‘Got to Get You Into My Life’ Artist: The Beatles
The Fab Four incorporated marijuana into their creative process soon after Bob Dylan got them high and pranked them in 1964. Two years later, Paul McCartney wrote an ode to pot, “Got to Get You Into My Life,” disguised as a boy-girl love song. Which it was, if the boy was McCartney and the girl was nicknamed Mary Jane. Paul’s song appeared on The Beatles’ 1966 album Revolver, which many music fans considered the first psychedelic record.

Mötley Crüe played a “surprise” intimate club show Friday night (June 30th) at The Underworld in London in advance of their concert at Wembley Stadium the next evening.
The band performed to around 450 attendees under the pseudonym Dogs of War — the title of a new Crüe song that has yet to be released — and ran through a setlist stacked with hits, including “Shout at the Devil,” “Too Fast for Love,” “Live Wire,” “Girls, Girls, Girls,” “Dr. Feelgood,” and “Kickstart My Heart” (which closed the set).
Mötley Crüe typically perform a medley of covers during their sets, and for The Underworld performance, they fused Gary Glitter’s “Rock and Roll, Part 2” with Brownsville Station’s “Smokin’ in the Boys Room,” The Beatles’ “Helter Skelter,” Sex Pistols’ “Anarchy in the U.K.,” and the Ramones’ “Blitzkrieg Bop.”
They followed the medley up with a full rendition of Beastie Boys’ “(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!

Steven Spielberg is a filmmaker that many actors aspire to work with, including action star Jackie Chan. But when Chan asked to be a part of one of Spielberg’s biggest franchises, Chan claimed he didn’t get the desired response.

Chan has never minced words when it came to his admiration for director Steven Spielberg. Spielberg was less than a handful of filmmakers who Chan would’ve worked with for free if he needed to. George Lucas, Francis Ford Coppola, and James Cameron were other directors he would’ve been fine collaborating with without pay.
“I want to find out what happen, my action and their technology,” Chan once told The New York Times.
Chan would finally get the opportunity to meet the Oscar-winning filmmaker for a project Spielberg had in mind.

Jennifer Love Hewitt was one of the biggest teen stars of the nineties. First making a splash on Party of Five, she parlayed that success into a solid career in features, leading the teen horror slasher classic I Know What You Did Last Summer (as well as its less beloved sequel), the comedy cult classic Can’t Hardly Wait. Her fame carried over into the 2000s, with her showing impeccable comic timing in the underrated Heartbreakers opposite Sigourney Weaver, Gene Hackman, and the late Ray Lotta. She even teamed up with Jackie Chan in The Tuxedo. She also starred in not one but two Garfield movies (in which Bill Murray voiced the titular feline) and also had a role opposite Anthony Hopkins and Alec Baldwin in the notoriously troubled Shortcut to Happiness, in which she played a sexy version of the devil.

Kevin Donovan's 2002 film "The Tuxedo," while certainly not critically beloved, began with a cute enough premise. An affable chauffeur (Jackie Chan) becomes the driver for a kindly government agent played by Jason Isaacs. When Isaacs is unexpectedly killed, Chan inherits his tuxedo. It turns out, though, that the Isaacs character was a James Bond-type spy, and his tuxedo is, in fact, a high-tech suit of armor that can robotically manipulate the limbs of its wearer. All of a sudden, a working-class schlub can fight like Jackie Chan. The character quickly becomes embroiled in a spy plot all his own. "The Tuxedo" should have been...

There are not many Japanese pop musicians that can sell out concert venues outside of their home country. Recently, a younger generation of listeners gets hooked on the hedonistic vibe of the so-called “City pop”-genre, whose catchy 80s melodies spread throughout the internet and gathered a viral fellowship. But there is more to the Japanese music industry than just flashy neon lights and songs about heartbreaks.

There are a lot of popular streaming platforms to choose from, but Hulu has always stood alongside Netflix as one of the two essentials for households looking for diversity in content. In the past, they’ve been known for focusing more heavily on newer television content, while Netflix has always offered a larger selection of sought-after films. But now, it looks like Hulu’s June lineup is only going to continue the service’s recent trend of providing high quality movies to bring itself in line with their competitor.

Not only will ESPN+ have the entirety of The Last Dance on its servers for late-adopting sports fans to catch up with, but Disney+ will be premiering its long-awaited Artemis Fowl film. Over on its biggest streaming service in Hulu, however, Disney is taking things a bit more slowly.
This month finds only three major original releases for Hulu. Animated medieval comedy Crossing Swords premieres on June 12, then Ya love story Love Victor and cooking show Taste the Nation with Padma Lakshmi both arrive on June 19. All in all, that’s not a bad haul for originals for the typically slow summer months.
June 1 sees a pretty impressive crop of movies coming to Hulu’s library as well. October Sky, The X-Files (1998), and Casino will all be ready to stream at the beginning of the month.

It’s hard to put a price on self-control, but $100,000 is a decent place to start. That’s the cash prize up for grabs on Netflix’s upcoming reality dating experiment Too Hot to Handle, whose eight-episode first season drops on Friday, April 17.
Here’s the skinny: Ten smokin’ hot singles from all across the globe come together in paradise for what they think is going to be the sexiest summer of their lives — only to discover that money is deducted from the group’s final pot for every sexual encounter that goes down. Yes, that includes kissing.

The coming months are going to be fascinating ones for Netflix, as the perennial streaming giant has to compete with Disney Plus and Apple TV+. As usual, though, the company’s releasing some new original content next month while also introducing a few Christmas titles into the mix ahead of December.
Some highlights for November include the third season of The Crown, and the streaming premiere of Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman. In addition, we’re getting new episodes of animated hits such as She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, and the second installment of the cult British series The End of the F***king World.
At present, though, there doesn’t seem to be a large number of recent movie additions outside of Netflix originals, perhaps owing to the service’s ongoing commitment to its own content in the face of Apple TV+ launching on November 1st and Disney...

Hello! From Armageddon to Harry Potter, we salute the screen work of Mr Jason Isaacs...
This feature contains spoilers for Event Horizon and the Harry Potter films. This spoiler warning contains spoilers for the list.
Hello to Jason Isaacs! Through roles in an impressive array of movies, from indies to massive blockbusters on both sides of the pond, he's become one of our favourite character actors. We've found that no matter how the film turns out, you can guarantee that if he's in it, his performance is going to be one of the highlights.
Off-screen, Isaacs has a whole other profile of popularity. Out of several prominent celebrity fans of Mark Kermode and Simon Mayo's film review show on BBC Radio 5 Live, he's the patron saint of their “church of Wittertainment”, and “hello to Jason Isaacs” is the show's first, most popular catchphrase.

The Ice Age flicks are the cinematic equivalent of drive-through nuggets of reconstituted chicken slurry served by a bored teenager in a cardboard hat. I’m “biast” (pro): nothing
I’m “biast” (con): really hate this series

Manny the Mammoth is back! In this Very Special Episode of Ice Age, Manny gets exasperated by the fact that his wife, Ellie, and daughter, Peaches, are independent creatures with minds of their own: “Women! I don’t get ’em!” he exclaims [insert laugh-track clip of a 1967 studio audience roaring]. Watch what happens when Manny forgets his wedding anniversary — he’s gonna be in trouble with the missus! [studio audience groans dramatically] And then there’s Peaches’ upcoming wedding to loveable doofus Julian. [studio audience: “awwwww!”] Is it the end of Manny’s world now that his little girl is officially all grown up? It just might be… what with that massive asteroid heading straight for planet Earth!

With Kingsman: The Golden Circle in theaters right now, here's our pick of the sneakiest secret agents on film.
Operatives. Spies. Moles. Infiltrators. Secret agents go by many names. In fact, Britain's national security agency doesn't even call them agents - they're covert human intelligence sources, or simply “officers." Whatever we choose to call them, secret agents lead necessarily furtive and obscure lives - so obscure, in fact, that most of what we know about them is defined by what we've seen and read in books and movies.
During the Cold War, the image of the secret agent as a well-groomed sophisticate in a suit proliferated all over the world, and even in the high-tech landscape of the 21st century, that image still stands--just look at such movies as Kingsman: The Secret Service and The Man From U.N.C.L.E..

New Delhi, Oct 1: Jackie Chan has confessed that he will allow his body to decide when to quit and declare retirement.
The 59-year-old actor said that when he was 40-something, the media would regularly question him about his retirement and he would always reply with the same answer - another five years, China Daily reported.
However, 'The Tuxedo' star explained that he was going to be 60 in another six months and unlike earlier times, he becomes tired and even gets hurt while performing the stunts.
Chan also joked that he can continue his career in Hollywood only if the audience forgives him for using a body.

This weekend, as you search for a movie to watch, you can either go out to see The World's End or Drinking Buddies, or stay home and pick one of approximately 14 billion options available on streaming over a variety of services, be it Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, On Demand, or other sites. Every Friday, Vulture tries to make life easier by narrowing it down to a handful of heartily recommended options. This week, we take shots of a martial-arts classic, a history buff's perfect cocktail, and the BFI's 29th greatest movie of all time. The Legend of Drunken MasterIf you're wondering why there's still reverence for Jackie Chan after three Rush Hour movies and The Tuxedo, see Drunken Master II, a.k.a. 30. Kirsten Dunst in Savage Garden's "I Knew I Loved You"

The actor's 100th movie may not be much good, but it's still a good excuse to celebrate the most human kung-fu star in the world
Jackie Chan's 100th film is, by anybody's standards, not a good one. A vanity project of the worst kind, 1911: Revolution is his version of Kevin Costner's The Postman. Even at 93 minutes, it feels about half an hour too long.
What begins as something sober and sumptuous, 1911: Revolution quickly becomes stilted and po-faced. It's ostensibly about the Xinhai revolution, in which China's last imperial dynasty was overthrown, but whatever dramatic potential that offers quickly gets lost in the endless explanatory text and the meandering subplots about railway finances. The toe-curlingly awkward tracts of English-language sequences don't help (at one point an American character exclaims: "Chinese revolution is the only thing that can make exciting history!") as does the fact that Jackie Chan...

Warner Bros seems to be everywhere in the news of late! Have you seen Gavin O’Connor‘s Mma film Warrior yet? If not, you're really missing out. This is one of the best movies of the year, and I suggest you go watch it if you haven't already. Robert Schwentke's R.I.P.D. is scheduled to go into production fairly soon, but it would seem that the film still has a few parts that they need to fill. Earlier today it was reported that supermodel Marisa Miller will play the human form of Jeff Bridges' character, an old west outlaw named Bo. And now two more names have been added to the cast. Deadline has learned that Mike O'Malley has signed on to the film as has James Hong, according to THR. O'Malley will play a ghost named Elliot while Hong will be Grandpa Chen, the human form of Ryan Reynolds' character, a dead cop named Nick Walker. If we've learned anything from the movie world in 2011, it's that Kevin Bacon is still quite awesome. Between Super and X-Men: First Class he has shown that he still has the skills that made him a star and also plays a pretty damn good villain. Hopefully he'll take what he learned from those films and apply it to his newest gig. Variety has learned that Bacon is currently in negotiations to play the central antagonist in R.I.P.D. Set to be directed by Robert Schwentke and co-starring Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges, the film is based on the comic series of the same name by Peter Lenkov. The script was written by Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi, whose previous work includes Clash of the Titans, Aeon Flux, Crazy/Beautiful and The Tuxedo. The ghosts who whisper to Jennifer Love Hewitt have advised her to take some truly strange cinematic projects over the years. Outside of the sturdy teen comedy Can.t Hardly Wait and the underrated black comedy Heartbreakers (with Gene Hackman and a game Sigourney Weaver), Hewitt has squandered her Party of Five fame on efforts ranging from Garfield and its abysmal sequel to Jackie Chan.s forgettable The Tuxedo. Maybe her next picture, Jewtopia, will be the one to turn the actress.s career around. And no, despite the title, this is not an edgy, controversial, scathing work of racially sensitive drama that will challenge Hewitt.s range. Instead, Variety reports that the adaptation of Bryan Fogel.s comedic play mixes the mistaken-identity mayhem of Wedding Crashers with the over-the-top stereotypical punchlines of My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Can Pixar deliver again, or is Cars 2 the firm's first genuine disappointment? Ron has been finding out...
Cars 2 feels like an exercise in excess and an apology from Pixar to their Disney friends. “Dear Disney, sorry we made a half-silent movie about a robot, and we're very sorry we made a movie about an old man and a fat kid who fly in a house-balloon. I know you love toy sales, and those movies weren't exactly selling tons of dolls. So, to make it up for you, here's Cars 2. It's like Cars, but with even More toy potential!”
This time, Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) has just won the Piston Cup again, and now he's ready to kick up his wheels, relax with girlfriend Sally (Bonnie Hunt) and spend his lazy days with his best pal Mater (Larry the Cable Guy).
Unfortunately, after a very-public calling-out from hotshot...
