Warning: Spoilers
Hooterville has formed a committee to attract outside money to the town. After their attempts to bring in the World's Fair and the Olympics fails, the committee (led by Mr. Haney) decides to invite Hollywood to make a movie there. At the same time, tired of Mr. Douglas' constant angry letters, the Department of Agriculture decides to go to Hooterville to make a documentary about the perils of city people turning to farming. The man in charge is James D. Stewart (Stewart on his door, Stuart in the credits). When word comes that James Stewart is coming to Hooterville to make a movie the town gets all excited. Mr. Drucker digs out his old toupee. Mr. Kimball wears a beard in an attempt to snag the part of Abe Lincoln. Mr. Haney gives acting lessons to Lisa, Eb, Arnold and the rest of the town. Stewart/Stuart (played by great comic actor Bernie Kopell) confronts Oliver about his complaints and points out he's not reading the ENTIRE department fliers, which is causing him a good deal of trouble.

After shooting the documentary, the department decides to burn the film. A lively, funny episode.
