The "Joke"
Hitchcoc17 April 2015
As Klinger writes to his uncle, there are some interesting goings on going on. The first has to do with a joke that Hawkeye tells B.J. It involves a guy in a circus who can fly. It isn't really all that funny but the episode tells us it is. B. J. doesn't react to the joke but then later tells it himself. People are in stitches. This leads to a kind of Joke-off where the results really aren't conclusive. Other events involve a slow thinking soldier who has always depended on another soldier to take care of him. The guy is going to be shipped home after a throat injury and the kid is really worried. Potter uses Klinger to pose for a painting. Charles gets a new shotgun and used Klinger as a bird dog. There are other things, but it's the usual letter-home plot with different vignettes.

Klinger's episode

Warning: Spoilers
Klinger owns this episode, and highlights his growth and maturity as a character in the 4077th. The competitiveness between Hawkeye and BJ erupts with a joke that Hawkeye claims Korean copyright for, but BJ appropriates the gag as his own much to the chagrin of Hawkeye.

Richard Lineback appears as Eddie. In the 90s Richard became famous with his supporting role in the Keanu Reeves blockbuster Speed.

Overall an episode one can watch over and over again.
