I like it when shows take chances. And this brilliantly mirrored what a crazy world we are living in right now. It's like we are all in a bad B movie.

I'm sitting here in awe. This whole season has been building to this culmination of this last episode that wrapped up all the loose ties so nicely. What a creative and innovative way the showrunners have chosen to explore concepts of democracy, rule of law, intellectual property, Covid impacts, edges of criminal legality and the choices we make to defend those edges, the impact of media, and so so many more notions of system changes. It was brilliant, hilarious, cerebral, evocative, strange, and completely ludicrous.
The best television I've experienced in years. This season should win an Emmy for creativity.

I was like there is something seriously wrong on this series on season 5 but the final episode was like, holy black mirror! It was weird, nice weird. Maybe they can stick to same argument on the season 6 but, the year 2020 and 2021 was crazy anyway. Lets get back to new-normal. Old normal wasn't working but new normal must not be crazy, it should be "different". As they said in the show, we're already in a revolution, everything changing, finance, politics, law..

I was going to rate this season 6/10 because of how illogical and insane the storylines are. However, having watched the last episode, it has dawned on me that this is exactly what our society is decaying into. The show is simply two steps ahead of us. Look around. The left is over-correcting every insignificant thing, the right is descending into complete madness, the moderates can't do anything because everyone has been polarized, and the rich just want the world set ablaze. I can sense that the world is ending. Well, at least I can still enjoy some quirky humor from the FBI lady.

I'm sitting here wondering what the actual heck was this. I just can't believe the worst storyline of the show just took over the entire series. It was cute at first but then all of the sudden around episode 7 or 8 it got unsuffurable. I guess that those last 2 minutes are supposed to explain what a nonsense this was? But that's not enough for me. I just hope they completely ignore this going forward because I don't need to see more of it.
It saddens me that this is the first episode ever I don't enjoy from this amazing show.

Having watched all of The Good Wife and this spin-off The Good Fight I recognise there has always been a certain "wackiness" but series 5 has descended past the point of being funny!
I hope in series 6 they can get it back on course otherwise it's another series I'll have to check out of!

The Good Wife was a great show. The Good Fight's first season was similarly great and until this season the show was consistently good. The Good Wife and early Good Fight touched on serious issues. This season was about serious as Dumb and Dumber except not nearly as funny. The Mandy Patinkin arc was offensively ridiculous and Marissa needs to return to being a minor character. Even the Oscar Rivi starting didn't cut it, a pale imitation of Lemond Bishop. Diane and Jay and Charmaine are great but this show misses the gravitas of Alicia and Will and Peter and Kalinda. I have a solution going forward. Split the series into two shows The Good Fight and The Dumb Fight.

I respect your talent, but I implore you. Please, please either put an end to this debacle or go back to basics. I understand satire and when done right, it's smart, subtle and nuanced. The heavy handed approach this show takes with its liberal agenda is almost converting me to conservatism. The Marissa character is the 2021 Tina Yothers of television.m, return to the Alex P Keaton, and Mallory episodes you all did so well, when it was a really Good Fight.

I put up with this season, episode after episode hoping that things would turn around, but the constant racism, one-sided views and stereotypes just kept coming, it was sickening to watch. I'm just happy the season is over and I won't be watching this show anymore. Way to ruin a great show!

I think we can all say: we have seen better.
As someone outside the American legal system, I have no brief to admire it, or convert it back into something I can admire. Recent Presidential appointments to the have made no attempt to make a balanced court that commands respect. I can see that the series looks at the consequences of such failure. - There is lack of respect of the legal process which has always been present in the black African section. There is substitution of local courts and their inevitable consequences. The social control agencies ( Police to you and me) do not act as they are set up to do or should do.
The trashing of the room in the final scene re-enacts the scenes of 6 Jan including the surreal scenes of violence towards some and not others.
It was a fair satire about a President trashing a system that worked for one that obviously didnt or wouldnt work
Perhaps a satire I didnt need to watch.

I love the idea of the show, the critique of modern justice is an excellent arc. But when they kidnap and hold lawyers or even ordinary people against their will, you are entitled to free them by any means. You should.

I am a huge fan of The Good Fight (although I never watched the Good Wife) but I'm really sorry, I've had to pretty much drag my way through season 5. I didn't really want to, but I guess being obsessive compulsive means I have to see it to the end. Anyway, watching season 5 is kind of like Terry Gilliam's Brazil, Black Mirror, Inside No. 9 and Mandy Patinkin for good measure.
I just hope season 6 is back to normal please.
