I loved this episode, as I also love collecting tote bags!! All credit to the writers of this episode, who can turn something innocent and sweet as collecting tote bags into something that can overwhelm the lives of the three bears! "You're one of us now" is what a tote-promoting shopkeeper intoned, just like in the Australian movie The Boys.
The bears revel in their Tote Life privileges like free ice cream and pop corn, and they get newfound respect displaying their tote bags. But this enthusiasm overwhelms the bears (very cute seeing them waddling with tote bags down the street), with their house wall to wall with tote bags, and it's so bad the EPA has to send someone over to investigate!
The EPA officer looks a lot like Elly, one of the characters from the Better or Worse comic strip.
