Esther Monroe, an old school friend of Florence's is found dead at the bottom of a cliff.
A good, solid episode, as with the last one, I'd argue it's not a classic, but there are some real plus points. First of all, Humphrey, I have been known to be somewhat critical of him, sometimes too goofy, sometimes too prone to falling over and bumbling about, here though, he's serious, he's smart, he's really on point. The general story is a good one, and there are some very interesting characters.
On the downside, it is very easy to work out exactly 'whodunnit,' and the solution itself was a little too obvious. Sadly none of the characters had a big role to play.
What a sensational case assembled for this one, Fiona Allen, Ramon Tikaram, Caroline Lee Johnson, and of course the incredible Monica Dolan. I wish Dolan had been in it a lot more.
Solid, 7/10.
