Overrated Movies (MY opinion!!)

Will try to form some sort of order, from most overrated to less. Also I'm not saying all of these films are terrible - just not as good as they have been made out to be. A dissapointment, in my opinion.

1. Forrest Gump (1994)

I'm sure many people will disagree with me. I don't think this film could be any more unrealistic. My opinion of this film is only fuelled by the fact that it robbed all of Shawshank's oscars.

Maybe the biggest dissapointment of my life. Unoriginal story, a bit too family orientated for what I was expecting. Just because the technology was new and impressive doesn't make it a good film! I expected much more from Cameron.

Saw this in the cinema and was extremely underwhelmed. I didn't think it was tense at all; bordering on a bit boring. Did it only sweep the oscars because it was so topical?

I can see what Frank Darabont was trying to achieve, but what a terrible result! Bad acting, hideous effects, long and tedious.. And the ending was maybe a bit too depressing?

I laughed twice throughout this whole film. The sequence of photographs in the end credits was the funniest part. It could have been made alot funnier by someone else. I personally would've liked to have seen Judd Apatow and the Knocked Up team try it. I think Todd Phillips is a waste of space.
