I think Tom Hardy will become even more popular in 2012 due to his role in the films This Means War, The Dark Knight Rises, The Wettest County, the after effects of him acting in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, and Warrior, and the upcoming anticipation for him as the new Mad Max, and Al Capone

This amazing actor has already show his skilled acting chops in 2011's 50/50, but 2012 looks to be an even better year for him, because he will not only be costarring in The Dark Knight Rises with the previously mentioned Tom Hardy, as well as other known and amazing acting talents, but he will also star in the adrenaline rush film appropriatley titled Premium Rush, Looper, where he plays a younger Bruce Willis, and costars with Emily Blunt. He will costar in the highly anticipated Lincoln (at least highly anticipated for me) with oscar winner Daniel Day-Lewis, and last but not least Django Unchained which stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, and the allstar cast goes on and on

Charlie Hunnam will become popular with a broader audience then just those that have seen him in the FX show Sons of Anarchy, because he will be in the upcoming films Frankie Go Boom, Blackbird, where he plays an ex-boxer, and will costar with the extremely beautiful and talented Olivia Wilde, as well as Aussie import Eric Bana, and he will be in a sci-fi thriller called Pacific Rim, with actors such as Ron Perlman and Charlie Day, and is expected to hit theaters in 2013

Josh Hutcherson has a big year ahead of him. He will be one of the many who will be starring in The Hunger Games, before that he has a sequel called Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. Josh also has a film called Carmel costarring Hayden Panettiere. Red Dawn is another upcoming project of his which stars Chris Hemsworth and Isabel Lucas, and finally a foreign film called 7 dias en La Habana

I personally am not a huge fan of his, but I did appreciate his performance in The Last Song, and I can acknowledge that he has many releases in the upcoming year. Liam has not only the highly anticipated The Hunger Games with the above Josh Hutcherson, and Jennifer Lawrence, but also AWOL, a film with Teresa Palmer, and Aimee Teegarden. He will also be in the upcoming Expendables 2, with the other allstar cast. He will possibly be in such upcoming films as Timeless, Arabian Nights, and the Power of the Dark Crystal.

This amazing actor from down under is going to be doing some great things this year. His spike in popularity rose when he was in the critically acclaimed Warrior with the oscar nominated Nick Nolte, and the remake of the classic horrror film The Thing. This year we can look forward to seeing him in the indie film Wish You Were Here which costars the lovely Teresa Palmer, he has the upcoming Disney movie The Odd Life of Timothy Green in which Jennifer Gardner costars, and the highly anticipated remake of The Great Gatsby in which he will play one of the leads as Tom Buchanan, and for those who don't know the costars in that, they include the charming Leonardo Dicaprio, Carey Mulligan, and Tobey Macguire. As of late except to see him in the most likely 2013 release of Kathryn Bigelows new film about the team that killed Osama Bin Laden.

Another aussie to add to the list, and the older brother of the above Liam Hemsworth, Chris has a lot to be proud of this year. Chris starred in 2011's Thor, and will reprise his role as the famed Norse god in the upcoming The Avengers, which has a long list of superheros he will costar with. For those that havn't seen the enticing trailer for Snow White and the Huntsman, than you should, and yes Hemsworth will be playing the title role of the Huntsman alongside Kristen Stewart as Snow White and Charlize Theron as the evil queen. (Fun fact: Hemsworth got the role after Tom Hardy turned it down to play Bane in TDKR.) Chris can also be seen in the upcoming thriller Red Dawn alongside Josh Hutcherson, and Isabel Lucas. Cabin in the Woods is a horror, that Hemsworth will be starring in this year as well.

Now Channing Tatum is already popular, especially among the teenage girl audience, but perhaps with his upcoming films it will open him up to even more people. In January he was part of a great ensemble cast that included Michael Fassbender, Ewan Mcgregor, Antonio Banderas, and Michael Douglas in the thriller Haywire. Now The Vow which came out on February 10th, is a major romantic drama, with it costarring the sweet Rachel Mcadams and Underworld acclaimed Scott Speedman as the antagionist. Channing has the comedy 21 Jumpstreet which costars Jonah Hill which looks to be hilarious, and the action packed G.I. Joe sequel. You know you've made it in Hollywood, when they make a biopic about your life while our still alive, which is exactly what they've done with Magic Mike, a biopic about Tatum, and he'll will star as the title role of Mike.

Those may know Taylor as the playboy Tim Riggins from Friday Night Lights, but those that arn't familiar with him, will have their chance. Taylor will be in Disney's sci-fi film John Carter, which is set to come out in March, then he will be fighting a different kind of battle in another sci-fi called Battleship which costars the talented Rihanna. Later on in the year Taylor will be in playing a drug dealer in the movie Savages which boasts an impressive cast that includes the handsome Aaron Johnson as the other male lead, and Blake Lively who plays their shared girlfriend, along with the likes of John Travolta, Salma Hayek, and Uma Thurman.

Zac Efron, probably most known for very popular Disney franchise High School Musical, but hopefully this year will be the most important in shedding that famed Disney persona, and putting one on of the more serious and dedicated actor variety. Just coming off of 2011 was New Year's Eve, a movie that was littered with stars from all genres, Zac has a good start to a promising year. First up on the calendar is the animated adaptation of Dr. Seuess's The Lorax, in which Zac voice the main character who shares the screen with the voices of Taylor Swift and Danny Devitto. Zac will have the Nicolas Spark's adapation of The Lucky One, in which Zac plays the lead. Later on in the year he will costar in Liberal Arts with Elizabeth Olsen and Josh Radnor, and then The Paperboy with the famous names such as Nicole Kidman, John Cusack, and Matthew McConaughhey. Finally he has an untitled film about a family that has problems that costars Dennis Quaid and Heather Graham.

Many may already know the name of this talented actor, but those who don't, he should become a household name by the end of this year. Renner was most recently seen in the latest installment of the Mission Impossible movies. Later on this year he can be seen in the upcoming The Avengers as the superhero Hawkeye. He can also be seen in the newest movie of the Bourne franchise called The Bourne Legacy. Early next year he can be seen in Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, which will costar Gemma Arterton as Gretel.
