My Favorite Movie Title Sequence/Opening Credits
by jefferybuckles25 | created - 28 Sep 2013 | updated - 28 Sep 2013 | PublicJust a list of the title sequences or opening credits that I find awesome, whether for their creepiness, subtlety, music, etc. It is almost always the first impression a movie will make on it's audience. These are the movie title reveals/sequences/credits/whatever you call them that have left an impression on me and I often feel make the movies that much better. Granted not all of these movies are masterpieces, but I find the the openings fascinating nonetheless.

Without a doubt, it is the music that makes this one of my favorites. Written by Howard Shore of Lord of the Rings fame, it brings chills down my back when I hear it. I love it when the title shows up and it's all green and sporadic and then it calms down to black with a blue back glow.

Honestly, the titles are scarier than the actual movie for me, solely because when the title is shown, that sharp string stroke is played.
