Movies I gotta see in 2013.

We had The Dark Knight Rises, Lincoln, Life of Pi, The Master, Django Unchained, Skyfall, Silver Linings Playbook... and I still haven't seen half of them. 2012 was a year almost too good to be true. But it feels like there was so much given in 2012, that there isn't a whole lot to get in 2013. But I will try to make the most of it.

Spike Jonze has quite the imagination, and from what I've read from the plot, this is definitely a must see. He may have another "Being John Malkovich" on his hands.
5. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013)

The dwarves, along with Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf the Grey, continue their quest to reclaim Erebor, their homeland, from Smaug. Bilbo Baggins is in possession of a mysterious and magical ring.

The first film was pretty addictive, so I'm excited to see where else the series will go. Plus, viva la Jennifer Lawrence!

Lars Von Trier is a freak, but I love it. He always gives a good show, so hopefully this one can live up to his last film, Melancholia.

This is probably going to be the smartest action movie of the Summer, and Guillermo Del Toro is a dazzlerm when it comes to visual story telling.

Does it really need a remake? Not exactly, but with Julianne Moore as the psycho mom, Chloe Moretz as Carrie, and Kimberly Pierce (Boys Don't Cry) directing, it might be worth seeing.
