For sure one of the best horror films in recent years. You got the perfect 70s pseudo grindhouse porn look, the weird camera angles and music, and a tremendous cast and characters (and the lead girl is just double as good!). But the main thing: a really good plot, that takes its time to complete its change from pseudo porn to brutal gory slasher not to stall the audience but because THIS slasher is not only out for blood but for some deeper shit too that need the time and space to unfold in the subtext of the movie properly until it's ready to release the carnage. You don't see something like that often in a horror flick other than as an on the nose plot device. Here it's owned and cleverly embodied so that you can think about X from a lot of different angles. Well done, Mr. West. Well done! - Jay (Germany)

A really nice film - I'm still thinking a lot because the film is told from the father's point of view and that of course gives a lot of room for criticism, but I personally thought it was appropriate - because it might be able to reach more people that way. Do old people still have sex and if so, could they please keep quiet about it? That's what many people think - until they get old themselves, that is... Given the movie's subject, I expected a raunchy comedy. What I got was a sometimes funny, but mostly thoughtful, often touching little movie. Emma Thompson gives a fearless performance. I love about her that she just doesen't give a fuck about other people's opinions. If the sight of a naked lady in her 60s bothers you, or if frank discussions about sexuality make you uncomfortable, you might want to skip this movie - but you may need some help in your personal life. - Steffen (Germany)

Well made action movie, a bit of humor, interesting storyline with some twists, and some unrealistic fight scenes that are nice to watch. - Joel (Germany)

Typical trying to make Tom Holland look like a tough guy but still looking like a kid. It's totally realistic and believable with characters you wished you cared about and plots so full of holes and history nonsense that it could be enjoyable. It's not. But if you're a fan of Uncharted games, it could be enjoyable on a nostalgic level. - Eddy (Malaysia)

David Cronenberg is back. With a freaky tale from the future that could have been easily an episode of Black Mirror. But with this unsettling Cronenbergish look and deeply nightmarish feel. This is NOT a remake. But clearly, some producer thought: "Hey, why don't they make movies like "Romancing The Stone" anymore? Maybe I should give it a shot." So here we are. Nothing in this movie is original or innovative, it's just a bunch of charming people making fun of themselves. And why the heck not? Breezy, lighthearted fun, easy to digest. - Steffen (Germany)

One pretty awesome "Oh shit! Didn't see that coming" scene. Points just for Sandra Bullock acting abilities to make it believable that an author with zero survival skills can make it through a jungle on a bright, purple onesie, high heels and perfect hair. Points for Channing Tatum's charms as well. God, he's been trying so hard to shed his boyish, only-good-for-dancing-and-modeling.
