Amazon Prime Video’s “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” is taking this Emmy race seriously.
With stars Donald Glover and Maya Erskine leading the charge, “Mr. & Mrs. Smith,” which draws inspiration from the 2005 movie featuring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, is set to compete in the drama categories at this year’s awards ceremony.
Crafted by Glover and Francesca Sloane, the show’s debut season stretches across eight episodes, centering on John and Jane Smith, secret agents who pose as a married couple while working for a shadowy corporation. Its blend of comedy and drama offered the potential to categorize it in either genre for awards consideration.

But its also a combo that conjures up all sorts of exciting hype – hype that the film couldn’t possibly live up to right… Right?

Here's a trailer for an awesome-looking martial arts fantasy film called Ninja Apocalypse. The movie was directed by Lloyd Lee Barnett, who has worked on the visual effects for films such as Avatar, Speed Racer, and Spider-Man. Judging from the trailer it looks like there will be some fun humor mixed in with some crazy cool action sequences involving martial arts mixed with magical powers. It looks like it will be a really entertaining, action-packed flick! The movie has a Mortal Kombat kind of feel to it, but it also has zombies! Not much is known about the plot of the film yet, but this trailer gives you a solid idea of what to expect.
The cast of the film includes Christian Oliver (The Three Musketeers), Ernie Reyes Jr. (The Rundown), Les Brandt, West Liang, Kaiwi Lyman, Tara Macken, Isaac C. Singleton Jr., Antoinette Kalaj, Mark Heidelberger, and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa...

While Tara Macken might not be a name you recognize, the actress and stuntwoman extraordinaire is sure to get your attention with her role in this week's new release The Hunger Games.
Tara will also be on our screens in several other hotly-anticipated titles including Battleship, G.I. Joe: Retaliation and J.J. Abrams' Star Trek sequel.
With the action-heavy focus of today's blockbusters, the A-list stars you see on screen are only part of the equation.
In disguise or concealed by CGI, stunt actors give the touch of reality to the spectacular sequences we buy our popcorn for - and Tara Macken will provide the best of both worlds when she acts and performs stunts as the District 4 tribute in The Hunger Games, out this Friday, March 23.
We had chance to sit down with Tara as she took a breather between her manic schedule of high-flying stunt work.

Although it was widely reported last June that Lionsgate intended to split Mockingjay, the third book in Suzanne Collins' The Hunger Games trilogy, into two films, Nina Jacobson, the producer who has been credited with discovering the series, says that decision is "not set in stone" and they are "still figuring it all out."
While those early reports of turning the series of three books into four eventual movies involved splitting Mockingjay in two, similar to what was done with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Jacobson told MTV during The Hunger Games' premiere this past Monday that the decision will depend on the reception of the first film, set for release next week. "Hopefully, people love this movie enough to demand the next one," she said. "Go make that one. Figure out what to do from there."

According to Variety, Lionsgate U.K. has opted to shave seven seconds off Gary Ross' adaptation of The Hunger Games for Brit audiences in order to achieve a 12A classification in the territory.
The film, which has received a PG-13 rating in the U.S. from the MPAA, was originally given an uncut 15 certificate from the British Board of Film Classification, but Lionsgate was keen to "achieve a particular category" to reach a wider audience in the U.K.
Kids under the age of 12 are allowed to watch 12A films at cinemas if they are taken by an adult. According to the BBFC, "a number of cuts were made in one scene to reduce...

If you’re scratching your head over that last part of the headline: We’ve heard from various sources that The Hunger Games will in fact run for a tiring 142 minutes. Hey, if they’ve got a lot of story to tell…
