The Legend of Korra (2012–2014)
10/10
Another legend
28 June 2012
I went into The Legend of Korra with tempered expectations. I was a huge fan of Avatar: The Last Airbender and wasn't convinced that anything could top it. I was completely wrong, Korra blew away all my expectations and has taken the place of TLA as my favorite television series of all time. The writing is intelligent, clever and keeps the audience on their toes (sites such as Reddit were a-flurry with theories between every single episode). It is the perfect balance of action, drama, intrigue and humor that keeps an audience captivated & coming back week after week. You watch these characters evolve, hit extreme highs and devastating lows, all the while you're falling more in love with each and every one of them. The show does have a few shortcomings, though. It is clear that the writing staff, though brilliant, only had 14 episodes to work with and did their best to cram as much as they possibly could into one season, which makes things feel a bit rushed at times; but the writing is still fantastic. For brevity's sake, I'll wrap things up here. If you enjoyed TLA, this show comes as an incredibly easy recommendation. If you have never seen the original series, I believe you will still enjoy this show for its stellar characters, well written stories and rich universe. Though I suggest watching TLA, don't feel obliged - you'll still adore Korra.

The Avengers (2012)

Great Film!
29 April 2012
At last! The Avengers is released, and does not disappoint. It begins with a fast and mysterious, with few characters, which eventually merge to form The Avengers. The movie has action scenes very well done, and confrontations between the characters of epic size, the film also features humor, that feels good and it accounts for most of Iron Man One of the greatest strengths of the story, is that all characters have their heroic piece in the movie, and not entertain to lift just one. Another point is that Loki, despite the average character Thor, feels like a great villain for this group of heroes' . As to 3D conversion is a medium, are limited in some scenes just send things to people, but the scenes of Iron Man in his suit look great, it looks like these you into it. At the end of The Avengers is an epic film, which now brings together the best of the superhero movies, which is fast and not disappoint the fans of the films of these characters.

Ninja Gaiden 3 (2012 Video Game)
10/10
Ninja
20 March 2012
Series fans will be surprised at how talky Ryu and friends are. It's not to the point where I think he'd ninja off to the mall foodcourt to gossip with his girlfriends, but the chatter ever-present, and markedly different than what fans are used to. In his journey in this early code through London and later Dubai, he flaps his yap in cutscenes, in between battles, and even as he moves through these locales. Sometimes he's talking to himself, others he's chatting with a remote agent via headset, and in one scene he blows off his blue-haired student, Ayane. But, for as talky as he is, know that Ryu hasn't lost that dark killer vibe. Some of the talk is directive, helping Ryu set a path through these levels, but most of it is story development, as Team Ninja is focused on telling you a real story this time around. It's a bit too early to know where the story is going, but take comfort in knowing that scenario writer Masato Kato has been brought on board to help with that. You've seen Kato's work in the original Ninja Gaiden, as well as in Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VII. I don't mind that Ryu thinks about his killing a bit more now, and that there's a deeper narrative this time around, but I hope they don't make him soft. We love Ninja Gaiden because Ryu is a badass killer. I hope he stays that way. When Ryu isn't running his mouth, he's cutting **** and it's...it's glorious! Coming off working on reviews of multiple Japanese role-playing games, playing Ninja Gaiden 3 is like a well-deserved, bloody vacation. Thrashing buttons to jam swords into flesh has never felt so good, and it also looks pretty fantastic with the dark red sprays of blood fountaining up from piles of still-standing victims that should have been dead a long time ago. It only took about three minutes of play for me to find myself laughing maniacally at my ridiculously long-lasting chains of kills. The game's new cinematic kills only served to increase the volume of my laughing as they zoom in on the action and prompt you with what button you should be mashing to make your kills even more gory. The game eased me into the killing with fewer enemies that were just asking to be cut up and juggled, but quickly moved me into situations where I was surrounded on all sides by soldiers, gunmen, guys with swords, other ninja, and even **** with rocket launchers. In those times I couldn't cut fast enough, which let me know that the developers have not forgot their roots. As always, combat centers being able to quickly attack and watch your back to evade or block at the same time, mixing up the two to make it through bouts of relentless attacks. Feels good, man. Of course, it's not all cutting. Later in the game, escalating the challenge, Ryu gets a crossbow that has the player trying to pick off distant attackers while watching his back. Another new weapon, Ryu's cursed arm, builds up attack power from consecutive kills. When it glows red it can be charged up for an ultimate attack that kills all surrounding enemies in one hit. Finally, ninja magic is a bit different this time around. In the only example the demo provided, kills fill up a Ninpo meter that will let you unleash a flaming dragon into the sky to burn all enemies and fill your lifebar back up at the same time. It's still early, but Ninja Gaiden 3 is on the right track. The game is looking great, with a liquid smooth frame rate and some slick lighting. The camera needs more polish in tight areas, but it shows promise in the open ones. It is still too early to make a call on where the story is headed, but there's hints of something interesting brewing with Ryu's cursed arm and his occasional hesitance to kill. Yes, Ryu talks more and now seems to at least give pause before killing some people, but the action fans love is still in there

The Grey (2011)

"The Grey"
1 February 2012
The Grey is about Ottway (Liam Neeson, you don't find out what his first name is until the end) who's a sniper protecting oil drillers from the dangers they can not see. On their way home their plane crashes in the middle of nowhere and only seven of them survive including Liam Neeson. Packs of wolves then hunt them while they're trying to get back home.

The first ten to twenty minutes of The Grey is one of my favorite openings I've ever seen. It was beautifully filmed-especially the part when Liam Neeson walks into a bar and suddenly all the sound is blocked out and the camera is focused on his face-it's amazing. Liam Neeson is fantastic in this role. He plays a man who has just lost his wife and you actually believe that he could help save these men. The script was great. When all of the men are sitting around a fire and talking about their family or what they want to do one more time, Liam Neeson has a five minute monologue about his father that's very moving. Writer- director Joe Carnahan Is fantastic at filming action scenes. You feel for the characters, Liam Neeson is very good. I thought that it was an amazing film and would recommend to see this movie in theaters.

Sherlock (2010–2017)
10/10
Is elementary Watson!
16 January 2012
Rule, Britannia! Rule the waves!

Well, one has to admit that Britain steers again, now on the waves of air time, having thrown immediately into the twenty-first century of the national literary hero of the rastirazhirovanny kinopersonazha .. Directed by Paul McGuigan and screenwriters Mark Gattis and Steven Moffat did not become a regular statement of classic puzzle story in a retro style, moreover, that in parallel to Hollywood Guy Ritchie takes his full swing "Holmsianu."

Now, our contemporaries have used cleverly devised another British classic, HG Wells, a time machine. So, what is now the account is Mr. Sherlock Holmes - Benedict Cumberbatch? It seems to be - three hundredth-something, if you believe the statistics and the Guinness Book of Records. And in fact - the first and only. I beg your pardon, how could I have forgotten about his friend, companion and chronicler, Dr. John Watson - Martin Freeman.

I myself am somewhat belatedly became acquainted with this couple, which originated in 2010 and first saw the series "Sherlock" only in the New Year holidays in 2012 - and the first season, and two series of the second. At the same time I want to thank the producers of "First" television, which presented the audience a luxurious New Year's gift, leaving the possibility of the Russians share the joy of meeting new series of the second season, almost simultaneously with the audience throughout Europe. The authors are as carefully follow the lines of the source, organically plunging the characters into the realities of this century. "A Scandal in Bohemia" becomes "Scandal in Belgravia," and "Hound of the Baskervilles" multiplies in the secret lab in the "Hound of the Baskervilles."

Each episode is completely independent of the format of the movie, lasting for half an hour. But, nevertheless, it is advisable to start watching the first series - "A Study in pink." Notice the difference? - Arthur Conan Doyle's story, where the first contact with our heroes, called - "A Study in Scarlet." And literary retired doctor military medical service, John G. Watson, and the hero of the new film adaptation, returning to London from the war in Afghanistan. What a coincidence! - British Army fought unsuccessfully in the eighties the XIX-th century under the Kvndagarom and at the beginning of XXI-st there. And when a mysterious villain in the first story Conan Doyle's two-wheel driver was a black London cab, then here it is the driver of a black London taxi brand Austin FX4, which is still called kebom.

The beauty of a new interpretation of the images just meet and get acquainted in the chemical laboratory at the Hospital of St. Bartholomew the two young men is very strict adherence to, literally, word for word, text by Arthur Conan Doyle. Bravo, writers and film Gatissu Moffat for such a careful and reverent attitude to the source, since unexpected visual representation gives rise to an additional effect of recognition and surprise! And what is especially nice, friends remain fairly sophisticated language of communication, almost without using the modern jargon.

Undoubtedly, this new series is primarily addressed to the younger generation. And I felt some discomfort at times, not always appear and disappear ponimayastremitelno English phrases esemesok and embodied in the letters and words of the brilliant detective mind. That rate, and rapid installation are refreshing effect of a new reading texts Conan Doyle.

Our native Holmes and Watson - V. Livanov V. Solomin also looked at the beginning of the twentieth century and remain forever in the late 80s of the Soviet time, and in the hearts of local viewers. However, they have received praise from Conan Doyle's daughter and the Queen of Great Britain and awarded the Order of the British Empire. Honor and praise to them! Of course, in those days they had to shoot nature of Victorian England in the Soviet Baltic states, where else? I remember a funny story of Igor Maslennikov, as he was looking for a partner to Vasily Livanov. "I went through roster of actors and drew attention to the picture reddish blond - Vitaly Solomin. "Well, here is the same - a typical Edinburgh Englishman!". I imagine would have taken offense at the phrase the Scots!

And partly, Maslennikov was right. Sam Arthur Conan Doyle was born of the capital of Scotland - the glorious city of Edinburgh. He received his medical degree from the University of Zdinburgskom, where he was impressed by one of the teachers - Dr. Joseph Bell. In his lectures struck sharp observation and logic reasoning. He would be in the future prototype of Sherlock Holmes. Naturally, the profession, some self-portrait features and the ability to write captivating stories will go to Dr. John Watson. And here it is appropriate to emphasize that the most read and respected British writers in our homeland - that the Scots: Sir Walter Scott, Robert Burns, Robert Louis Stevenson and Arthur Conan Doyle.

About the movie magic
5 January 2012
The film was concerned more with the first news. Still, the family of Martin Scorsese's film - it's a little unusual, but it is tempting - especially with such actors. In the end, "Keeper of Time" does not confirm the fears and exceeds all expectations - with Scorsese got something that does not always work out in the cinema itself, not to mention the individual directors. In front of us - Magic straight from childhood, and it does not matter when it was his childhood - you feel it, not as a modest retrospective. But in order ...

Directed by Martin Scorsese in fact - a living classic of cinema, without which it is difficult to imagine the genre of crime films, besides, he was always very talented stylist, and his films were full of very interesting mounting solutions. Does he use this experience in "Keepers of Time"? Yes, but very selectively. It is encouraging that being on unfamiliar territory, Martin Scorsese did not cling to what he knew numbers and techniques. "Keeper ..." looks fresh and at the same time, so it seems that love this movie for a long time. Directed exactly what is honest with his audience, it does not work on some kind of target audience: the film is not lisp, but we do not like regular dark realism, a favorite in modern cinema.

And the movie itself - it's a film about magic movie, which is now made to bury under the gloomy scenarios and effects tones. Yes, in the "Guardian ..." is not so simple. The protagonist - Hugo Cabra (young, but very entertaining Asa Butterfield) lost his father and forced to live at the train station, watching the clock, and around him, at first glance, it is not friendly people in more accidents and broken - the same as Toys, which sells old magician (Sir Kingsley ene) or leg cruel, but a lone inspector (mustached Sacha Baron Cohen) ... all - like broken clockwork, which never have enough gear, so that they could go further. Thus, the magician will be a real magician - though from the world of cinema, just stopped believing in magic, and evil is not evil inspector, just such a life.

The characters here are classic and the film does without surprises. But as he presents them - through the whole picture is not so much a story of growing up, but simply finding yourself. Asa Butterfield played as such can only play so children - clean and quite technical, but with talent. Chloe Moretz, the young, but the star, it looks much more natural than in the same "Let me in" or "Piptse." Sound terribly old-fashioned role of a girl who dreams of adventure, Chloe looked better than in the roles of girls coming off limbs for people. It was nice to see the big actors - such as Kingsley (as very important for the movie rights), or Christopher Lee. Living legends, they are people usual, but with tremendous spark. Ben Kingsley has turned terribly vulnerable, and bereguschim themselves from large shocks - unlike his other books. Christopher Lee plays the one his monumental charisma, singing - only then - the owner of a bookshop. Sacha Baron Cohen has shown himself not as a chief mocker and troll movie, but as an actor. Yes, its inspector - is a collective image of the employees of all law enforcement agencies, and the stage with delivery of orphans and Doberman explicitly mocked the Nazis, but throughout the film are left covered by this story, these characters do not notice a dirty trick. Especially as Cohen demonstrates really cool game - not only funny but also touching. As for Jude Law and Ray Winston, they are treacherous enough. But Lowe's is charming and sweet as his father Hugo and Winston is the image of the watchmaker-drinkers.

In fact, Scorsese filmed a movie about all - and of themselves, and many of the spectators, even the very young. In a world of endless sequels, gloomy and serious restarts no longer believe in the magic of cinema, which it had once granted the. It is significant that the director in whose films reflect the worst vices of men, took the wise but not preachy film. Even in the most vivid and dramatic moments "Hraniel time" is kept straight with his audience. He does not need to surprise the beauty of these Paris 30s (and they are great!) Or lecture. After all, a movie - it's magic, which is sometimes not necessary to have a double bottom, and let it remain a focus, but it gives people pleasure. In this respect, "The Guardian of Time" - Cinema with a capital letter, not intended for a specific age or age group. The film is beautiful inside and outside of his ideas - a panorama of Paris and the railway station were worth every dollar 170,000,000th budget, and embodied it with great talent and surprisingly gently, carefully.

Best story of the year! I am glad that the movie recently lifted from the abyss mrachnyaka - Project Master "Super 8", "The Adventures of Tintin" and now "Guardian of time" once again make Cinema what he must be - a place where dreams are happening!

P.S. Could not find the place to describe Howard Shore soundtrack. Well you can not make the entire tip of the words "magic" and "great"! Music turned out to Shore atypical - all very gently and easily, with a great deal of French sounds. In the movie sound track Camille St-Seyesa and Erik Satie - Howard Shore is clearly inspired by the works of these classics ...

The End?
30 December 2011
Wait, wait, wait, I think it's one of those rare cases where the continuation of the original better. In defense of the painting in 2009 I can only say that it was the first and presented to the audience modernized Sherlock Holmes. What we will show today? Watson married, Professor Moriarty wants to unleash the First World War, and Holmes is on a diet of coffee, tobacco and coca leaves.

Scenario - a great chess game between Sherlock Holmes and Professor Moriarty. But right on red. As you must remember, a professor in the first part of a system of wireless detonators stolen and used it in this part, rather obviously did not apply, you can invent things. In the "Game of Shadows" Dr. Evil, he who tries to knock their heads against the two powers, I will not name names, but I will say that one country spoke French, and the other in German. It would seem, why should he? Yes, just part-time professor and another "Lord of War." A Sherlock acts as a catch-up - to calculate the great professor of mathematics - mission impossible.

The visual component - Guy Ritchie, getting the budget by about a third more than in the first part, so turned around that ... in short it must be seen. The scene in the woods, in my opinion, generally the most beautiful of those I've seen this year. Slo-mo, explosions, scattering trees, the big guns for the last time so I cut off the brain, only a third of "Transformers." Winter blockbuster, but with a firm sense of humor and a director Ritchie. At least a gypsy camp ...

The actor - ... (hello, "Snatch") and wait for what is now the scene Brad Pitt is out, and goes "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" Numi Rapas. No, this is not a film about which you're thinking. The charming young fortune-teller seeking his brother, who is the key to a great mystery of Dr. Ha ... Holmes. Vasily Livanov before the release of the first part said: "All the bad guys!" When he was invited as a consultant in Hollywood. Later, Robert Downey Jr.. refuted this statement, creating a distinct character. The second part of the missing spark in his eyes, but the game is also good. You can not say about Jude Law - replays. Of course, Guy Ritchie puts everything in such a way that at first glance it is not noticeable, distracted by the beauty, the passions, special effects, but for now, promatyvaya again, these scenes in your head, you notice - something was not right.

Finale - "bomb disposal" - all, the audience leaned forward. The atmosphere was tense to the limit, the pawn on e4, elephant elephant beats, the Shah, who watched "Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson: Mortal Combat" or read a book, understand what it's all over, I'd add that touched to tears, but at 2014 has already announced the third part of Robert Downey Jr. adventure. So what? This is not the end?

"Best Job in the World"
9 December 2011
From ancient times, all children of the world who still believe in miracles, disturbs one very important question, namely: "How Santa Claus manages to have time to dissolve completely in one night all the presents?" For a long time this remained a problem, but finally thanks to the guys from Aardman Studios and Sony Pictures Animation response was found, and now parents do not have to indulge in a spatial explanation, and it will be enough, just taking her children to go to the nearest cinema cartoon "Secret Service of Santa Claus."

  • Thy garland!

Somewhere at the top of the Earth in the North under the Policy multimeter layer of ice and snow lies ultravysokotehnologichnaya super secret Santa's station, on which millions of little elves working, responsible for the delivery of presents around the world. As the main transport for goods, they use giant sanelet S-1 (a cross between a sled and aircraft), capable of speeds up to 10 009.44 km / h.

Yes, unfortunately, a simple wooden sled pulled by eight reindeer, had to leave the main arena for the sake of technical progress and population growth. But do not be sad, when working as a Swiss watch service delivery fails, and one of the two billion children will be left without a pink bike, they will play a pivotal role in saving Christmas. After all, even if no gift is left only one child, the need for gifts for other children there by itself.

  • But this is impossible!

  • This is it! Previously it was thought that a woman can not be taught to read.

What is really good, almost all modern cartoons, in addition to what they can teach something good for our children? My answer is - an excellent re-interpretation of reality. Each time, going to a new creation, for example, studio Pixar, I besides touching story with a brilliant script and animation graphics, waiting for something like once again to be ridiculed things that our lives have become so commonplace that we no longer pay attention to them . And "The Secret Service of Santa Claus" in this aspect will be a miracle as well, ranging from a rethinking of conveying gifts as a family business with traditional retirement after 70 flights and finishing techniques and trust in the figures in a case in which not more important than ever serviceability mechanism and then you invest if you're into it his soul or not.

Of course, trying to be cunning, I will not - a gift to be delivered on time, but before that, it dared to 2 people and 1 elf survive many exciting adventures that will allow viewers of any age category had a good laugh, the spirit of the Christmas holidays and in no way be disappointed predictable happy ending .

What else, indeed, to such subject of the cartoon?

Immortals (2011)

Clash of the Titans
12 November 2011
Have you watched "Transformers"? Of course, watching, even if you do not want to admit it at all. "The Immortals" and films like Michael Bay is not worth the time spent on writing reviews. But, like Tarsus Sinha, I made a wry face and a serious start to disassemble the "War of the Gods" as if the artistic value of this film is at least half of all commercials from the classic TV show "Top on the couch."

Cast just phenomenal, every last actor completely inappropriate for the roles they are trying to perform. The whole movie I pursued a feeling that I would look unfunny show twin-parodist, where instead of James McAvoy - Luke Evans, instead of Sean Bean - Matthew J. Taylor, Greg Braiko substitute for a young Rutger Hauer, John Hurt and Ian McKellen cosplay fails. We should also mention the work of Henry Cavell - it is professionally unfit to the same extent as the chef who can not cook anything more complicated sandwich with sausage.

The script does not hold water, continuing the culinary metaphor, it can be compared with the soup, which I saw today in the cafeteria for lunch. People who wrote the script, do not even have a basic understanding of the structure of any narrative, no drama about a principle. Stupidity and absurdity of the dialogue turns hath audience in the hall in a stupor, then drove individuals to unhealthy Homeric laughter. Number of nothing more than unreasonable action contrary to logic, common sense, and to themselves, is somewhere beyond the comprehension of mortals. Only Olympian discovered the true causes of this chaotic meltesheniya on the screen.

Sinha on the spot Tarsema I would be ashamed to show the public the final version of the films, if I were, do not let Zeus in his place, I would destroy all copies of the tapes and would do away with them.

Genuine warm feelings.
6 November 2011
In general, the production of "Tintin" alludes to one simple truth: Be in love the fact that he takes over. If you can not - do not pull at all. After these excellent titles appear character. Then, second, third, and others. And together with them in the viewer's head slips inevitable thought that he watches the story where it extends everywhere terribly pleasant, warm feeling of reverent attitude. Spielberg and Jackson seemed to hold in his hands a miniature teddy Tintin, and say, "my darling you, you are very dear to me, and I will remove your story worthy material." Absolutely healthy sentimentalism outstanding people.

Knowing, like any other spectator, Spielberg never imagined that he could be such a virtuoso. Prohibitive ease, despite the tremendous excess of saturation of the plot, and attention to all of its many parts in any of the episodes. As soon as the protagonist goes further and further into his investigation, Spielberg gradually more and more pressure on the gas pedal. One hundred and seven minutes to rapidly and consistently growing material, which completely faithful to the original source. Active adaptation to the original concept of the comic book is included in the first minutes, without showing any mercy to the audience confidently shooting his own power head.

Without even the slightest hint at a weak point. Uniform attention to all stages of production shows itself in all its glory, when the taste and color work appears in every way as devoid of attacks, as well as differences. No one pulls the blanket over himself.

Andy Serkis is high time to give that a Oscar, for such an outstanding job on their heroes in the mo-cap. Need more detail feel the subtleties of this technology in order to understand the extent to which the operator is masterpiece Janusz Kaminski as full a picture happy chaos, perhaps, even a child will notice. It's hard not to pay attention to scenes that are removed by a single plan, despite the fact that in one scene the hero of more than ten times the change in location of the local scale, and, incidentally, is not he alone. In other words, each more than five hundred times catch the question, "well, that my friend, do not ever figure out how we managed to remove it?" This is primarily Spielberg stormed the adult audience. The all-new level of animation, which is achieved by getting rid of the known problems of motion capture technology of the past. A release is going brilliantly and simply, Spielberg holds the highest bar for directing a massive amount of detail frame. It should be noted that in the past that no one has yet succeeded.

Not for nothing is actively publicized the names of the writers that are very well managed approach to adapting the source material. Originality extends to absolutely everything, every time changing its color, presented in the form of humor, in the form of interior parts, or separate dramatic characters, and so on. Perhaps somewhat lost because of his age cult composer John Williams. He manages to keep the bar full, but no more. If earlier it was possible to look over the projects he has worked to close my eyes and still feel full majesty only with your ears, here we can hardly see a similar picture. As a small minus someone may also take into account the lack of female characters, unless you count the fleeting appearance of a opera singer.

"The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn" will amaze children of its history, and adults - an approach to it. An exciting and large-scale, original and fresh, colorful, funny and warm movie adventure, as a symbol of exquisite masterpiece of modern animation

The power of truth, even during his lifetime, I won the universe.
1 November 2011
For the first time looked, but with a terrible transfer, and the film still liked it. The second time literally 10 minutes ago, with a good dubbing, and I want to say. Beautiful, sad, inspired, the paintings, I have, is not seen.

"Remember in November, and remember the number five.

Gunpowder Plot betrayed again.

With all due respect to the flow time.

Betrayals do not forget "

England, one of Nazi Germany's colonies. The head of a totalitarian minded chancellor Satler. Dictating their severest laws. As a result, human life becomes a disguised order hell. And as usual, is opposed to this "order" a loner, a victim of the government of games, a revolutionary, named V.

So thoroughly worked, balanced story that I can not express in words how he pleased me. Wachowski brothers still know their job perfectly well. Why are only special effects, explosions and Old Parliament Bailey surprised by its beauty and craftsmanship.

Word of honor to know him at once, in his real voice. Then only in the closing credits confirmed that I was not mistaken. Now imagine anyone else in the role of V can not. Even if not seen his appearance as such. Porcelain mask was his face, in every sense. In the course of the film, she comes alive in my eyes, I'm glad that never showed face Hugo.

Think of a dialogue with Ivy Wee, after he released her from prison, my heart nearly stopped, to tears was a moment. An excellent game that deserves every possible award once. Although Smith was good, but it plays V in all respects.

"Beneath this mask is more than flesh, beneath this mask idea, and ideas can not die"

The result of my admiration will mention scenes out Bu on fire, and Ivy in the rain. Both raise their hands and shout. How finely weaved their way at the moment. How thin is presented to us.

After seeing a picture of unwittingly leaving themselves in as a dungeon, and you sit there, polnon impressions of what he saw.

The greatest hero
29 October 2011
Remember the good children's tale about the cat and its owner Marquis Carabas? Well, this cartoon is not about him, and the brutal and insidious killer of giants from Shrek - Cote boots. But that is if he really and what is hiding behind his cute attractive face? That's what we decided to tell Dreamworks. By the way, strange enough, but kids in the hall almost was not, basically a couple (well, this is understandable, even seals on YouTube are popular.)

The script tells us about the past of the hero, including a mini-story of the Cat, about his childhood. But the bulk of the followers of Jack's adventure takes the bean stalk and hunt for golden eggs. Of course, many changes, but it is a modern cartoon fairy tales treatment now in vogue. There are two main story lines: friendship and love. To be honest, both are shown in this way that children will hardly interesting morality, are not mature enough yet to treachery and romance. But the jokes, dances and other frills - just for them. Shrek style is preserved, "his wife flowers, ice cream ditYam", well, or a great moral uncle and aunt, and children - humor. Both lines are disclosed in some detail, especially friendship. Then you and flashbacks of the meeting, and this association, and of course fix the bad guys. And love - is all the chances to continue, maybe we'll see him someday.

The picture is even interesting. I really do not like 3d, but would not say that it was a lot, but overall not bad. And the scenery, "wild west", and urban slums, and even cloud castle - all beyond praise. The soundtrack, like in Shrek, does the job. Where should he play fonchikom where you want to highlight key, and even during the dance, listen to it - a pleasure.

Side of humor, as I said, at the level of Shrek. There are jokes for both children and adults have. In recent years, taken to introduce any exotic character that will appear periodically in the background, and to publish funny sounds, comment, or ape. Here he became a cat out of the bar, with its "Uooou." I do not quite understand why the place of the partner chose the egg, though of course it is logical in relation to the golden eggs, but they could not bother and we are so deep, sometimes just annoying.

Overall, this movie I would suggest to look in love (in the end, many in the room kissing), it is natural to children, and indeed all relax does not interfere. Easy, not too deep a cartoon, of course, with a happy-end, which will teach you how to take care of Lady, and to seek adventure on his butt.

Alice: Madness Returns (2011 Video Game)

Madness Returns
7 September 2011
When American McGee just contemplating his Alice, none of the game developers did not even think about how to make a fantastic story in the Gothic novel with blood, dead characters in the style of Tim Burton and too high levels of violence. So when American MacGee's Alice saw the light - it was a small but very noticeable revolution. McGee then tried every possible way to exploit the idea of warped fairy tales in serials games, but nothing could compare with the success of the original. Finally, the Americana was able to convince management to allocate serious EA for an art project budget and to find promising studio in Shanghai. During the three years of life in China McGee has not only changed my outlook, but was able to create an almost perfect product - Alice: The Madness Returns.

Continuing mild obsession grew out of teen girl in tattered Alice McGee emphasized the patchwork narrative. The heroine is still suffering from the effects of fire from a distant childhood, trying to find the lost memories under the supervision of a doctor in a psychiatric hospital. The story jumps between different fragments of the difficult life of the heroine, mixed with her adventures in Wonderland. This combination of reality and pseudo-reality leaves plenty of strange impression. A leisurely walk on the unnamed English city of the 19th century (judging by the construction of the subway, most likely meaning London) seem to be boring and inept, as well as hints of a strange relationship with Alice's public houses, brothels and other such dubious institutions. Moreover, conventional reality is not too gray glue fractured journey through the vibrant world of miracles in search of lost memories. The creators are trying to create a contrast between the realities, but playing at this point there is no passing feeling of boredom. But Wonderland - offers a journey into the world created is probably the most talented designers, game industry. Can think of Alice: The Madness Returns, as an interactive Biennale heirs Giger and Dali. Giant dilapidated objects of everyday life, schizophrenic biomechanics, puppet decadence and light touch of Gothic cause just a storm of emotions. Add to this the main character in the style of Gothic dolls from the Japanese company Volks with fully animated hair splitting into small locks in the wind. Staying true to the genre of platforming with puzzle elements, Alice: The Madness Returns skillfully plays with reality, offering perfect harmony with the mini-game, very much Alice, Godzilla, 2D arcade, chess puzzles, hunting for flying their noses and bloody battle with teapots, fishes, maps , wasps, samurai (other than a dress in this chapter for Alice) and mud Crank with doll faces from the world of Nier. Typically, the phase matches are held with a small set of weapons. In the arsenal of Alice: a sharp knife, pepper, pepper shooting at a distance, an umbrella, reflective projectiles, radio-controlled watch kamikaze rabbits and jump rope with a powerful head of a horse that can destroy even the most recalcitrant obstacles. All these weapons could be greatly improved by using the scattered and hidden world of enemies thousands of baby teeth. They can also be used to solve puzzles or finding secrets. In addition, Alice can plan on the air, perform a double jump, fall (to see the world from a different angle or to penetrate into the small hole) and become invulnerable, moving quickly in the form of colorful butterflies. We can not say that the combat mechanics as something apart from the competition, but boring and difficult to call these fights. If you do not compare with Bayonetta or Devil May Cry.

P.S. It seems that even Tim Burton would envy game design - is the best cat and his beautiful hatter in the movie. It would be nice to unite this couple. Yet Wonderland by Burton - it nuarnye tone design here is built around the word miracle, Gothic atmosphere of the same blob of blood and gives a very strange monsters. But I think that both versions would have been pleased himself Lewis Carroll. Well, you know, when he found himself in Wonderland ...

Death came for us again, oh no ... again
21 August 2011
An ending can make a movie. Final Destination 5 was teetering on failing or being good, and the ending just shot it over the top. I was almost done after the last Final Destination movie because of how bad it was, and this one brought it back to the standard formula, which will keep me in the seats. Major improvement.

One thing that changed it from it's standard film isn't what you'd think I'm about to say: it didn't have your standard hotties. Final Destination 5 has a beautiful young woman in Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, the rest not so much. Damn.

It did give a little more insight into the pattern of those people dying. It moved how you actually can avoid it forward. It also hints into how much longer they'll live. If they added those small things into the other ones there would have been so much progression into the movie. But it's Final Destination. What am I talking about? Tony Todd (of Candyman fame) is back. After not being in the 4th installment, he's the only repeat character, having only missed that one. Nicholas D'Agosto is OK. He was in a movie called Fired Up! and hugely funny. He's fair in Final Destination 5, as was the rest of the cast. Nobody stood out. Even David Koechner was just OK. He's funny, but pretty much the same character in this one that he is in every other movie, just not as funny in this one.

The writer and director both did fairly well. Writer Eric Heisserer wrote a decent script. He also wrote the Nightmare On Elm Street reboot, which failed miserably. We'll see whether he can progress when he does the Thing remake coming out soon. Director Steven Quale has done a little bit of everything. Almost literally. I would love to see what he could do if he focused on one thing like directing. I think he'd do a good job directing. Much better than he did here.

Final Destination 5 is OK. If you've seen the other ones, you know what you're walking into, with a much better ending. If you haven't, don't expect any depth what-so-ever, and the ending won't mean much. It's still entertaining.

Director in poorly lit?
21 August 2011
It's terrible. It's a tragedy that both Jessica Alba and Joel McHale from The Soup played characters in this. Butt-bombs, barf bags, etc. It takes toilet humor to the extreme. Sure little kids will find it enjoyable, but anyone over the age of 10, stay away from this and never look back! Also 4D, really? Doesn't most moviegoers hate 3D? Why 4D? It's just 3D, but with those stupid pop-up numbers to make you scratch the number and smell those stickers that smell worse the cigarette smoke. And one last thing. A TALKING Australian-ACCENT DOG (no joke) with face-palm inducing one-liners such as "Somebody put that on YouTube." and stuff like that. But there is only one thing that I like about this movie. Carmen and Judi are back. They got the original actors that played them and was defiantly a nostalgic tribute to the first 3 movies. All in all, just save your money. If you really want to see how bad it is, wait till it comes on RedBox.

Epic Fail!
21 August 2011
A lot of this movie is mailed in on all fronts, but he production/ writing and or directing end of it kills it at times. At times Jason Momoa is absolutely 100% Conan more so than Arnold, but then they give him scenes where he comes off as a juiced up Vincent Chase (Entourage) lost in time. I enjoyed it, but I've invested too much time with Conan in my life to give this a seal of approval. I would like to see the series continued with Momoa, but with a different director and storyline drawn from either REH's work or at least from the Savage Sword. There are great scenes amid some other ones. The opening was a major letdown, and I couldn't wait for Conan to grow up. Once he did, some fight scenes were fantastic, especially with the sand people. Still worth checking out, especially if you're going in with low expectations.

Mortal Kombat!
20 August 2011
I have long heard nothing about the genre of fighting, but from the Mortal Kombat were the warmest impressions of childhood, when with friends sticks for several hours. And now, after so much time, I did not think that when you buy this game, but somehow it happened that I went to the store and immediately bought the game. Such instantaneous came when we again began to play it, the developers did not stop us at the usual "scuffle" but added such as Safe Mode "story mode" and "Tower test" that does not just quite overcome to management and the dynamics of others. I would recommend this game to all who are familiar with quite series of games and who wants to feel a spirit of resistance and Do not weak fun with friends from the heart! But as has been said in this game can be played alone, and it's quite boring when the game show scenes like that in actual fact should have been in the movie ... OK, not about the movie now talking about. In the stories we are all soldiers for play (Elsi I remember correctly) for 3 fights, and all these battles are linked chain of logic that unravel in the course of passage ... So I can say from myself that this game is not a waste of money and time into it you can have fun after the passage of different Pocket DLC.

Cowboys vs Aliens
13 August 2011
The preacher looks the saloon-keeper in the eye and offers him friendly advice:get yourself a gun;learn how to use it. That's the Old West, put briefly. Then he teaches him. He tells him God wants him to mind his business. People are practical here, not even talk of demons lasts long. Maybe fighting evil should have been it,though, because Harrison Ford tells us manliness requires killing people who get in your way and putting people out of their misery. Love of one's own makes one as harsh as the wilderness.

Cowboys,as seen in Westerns, must be paradigmatic of the human beings for the story to make sense. Bloodshed requires men;in battle,Harrison Ford charges an alien like a jousting knight. Then it emerges criminals and Indians will do,too. They all share in lawlessness and war. Our outlaw protagonist steals alien weaponry and follows his inclination to war. The woman, typically treacherous, turns out to be an alien. Apparently, the look and the being are very different. She looked beautiful,or else she would have been uninteresting, unpersuasive;but she has self-sacrifice on her mind,to save mankind. It seems that men's inability to understand the truth about her being goes with their need of her. But she is uninteresting, like a goddess in the machine.

The aliens apparently want gold and experiment on human beings. They carbonize humans;and they also make them stare into a mesmerizing light that steals their minds, which helps Ford's bully of a son turn into a decent fellow.

The Smurfs (2011)

"Smurfs - insignificant gnats» ©
10 August 2011
In the late 1950s, a cartoonist in Belgium by the name of Peyo made a comic strip that featured small blue creatures. When the United States of America caught a glimpse of these comic strips from Belgium, American newspapers translated the strips, and called the little blue creatures "Smurfs". Then, in the early 1980s, animation pioneers William Hanna and Joseph Barbera brought the Smurfs to American television, where it became a huge success. Then, in 1983, we got a Smurfs movie entitled "The Smurfs and the Magic Flute" where it became a huge success. Now with the age of computers, Hollywood has delivered a more digital version of the cartoon in a movie simply known as "The Smurfs". How does it look and hold up to the original creations of Peyo? Not smurfing much. The movie is a really bad mix between live-action and animation that's sure to please kids, but not so much adults. Hollywood tries to make a modern Smurfs movie, but fails miserably.

The plot of the movie centers on the title characters known as the Smurfs. The leader of the Smurfs is Papa Smurf (Jonathan Winters), who looks like a blue Santa Claus, and he must keep things in balance at the time for the festival of the blue moon. But the evil wizard Gargamel (Hank Azaria) tries to capture these Smurfs for their magical power. Luckily, some of the Smurfs, including Grumpy Smurf, Brainy Smurf, Gutsy Smurf, Clumsy Smurf, and Smurfette (the only female Smurf) escape Gargamel and they fall through a portal that lands them in New York City. Here, the Smurfs meet Patrick Winslow (Neil Patrick Harris) and with him, the Smurfs must try to find a way home. Also, Gargamel comes through the portal with his cat Azrael (Frank Welker) to try and catch the Smurfs to let his evil plan fall through.

"The Smurfs" is not a terrible film, but it is just bad. The movie fails at almost every level. While I was watching the film, I found several mistakes that made the movie almost very hard to sit through.

The first problem I had with the movie was that the story was wretched. We've seen the scenario done better in other films, mainly time travel movies, where the main group of characters are from one time period and end up in the future. Now Hollywood is doing this with the Smurfs? You've got to be kidding me.

The second problem that I had with the film is that the casting was just poor. For the live-action part, Neil Patrick Harris was not convincing and not believable as the main lead human character. For the animation segments, George Lopez and Katy Perry did not fit their roles as Grumpy Smurf and Smurfette. In fact, the writers of this film actually managed to sneak in a line from one Katy Perry's songs "I Kissed a Girl" making an obvious pop culture reference that we do not need.

The third problem that I had with the film is that if you look at the animation done on the Smurfs on a TV, it looks pretty good. But when see the animation on the big screen, it looks kind of creepy. In fact, Raja Gosnell, the director behind 2002's "Scooby-Doo" adaptation, and its squeal "Scooby-Doo 2: Monster's Unleashed", could have done a better job at directing this movie.

But my main problem with the film is the pacing. At 1 hour and 33 minutes, the movie felt very quick and almost jumbled in some areas; this holds true especially at the middle of the film. "The Smurfs" had a serious editing problem. If the movie had been shortened by 10 minutes, then it would have worked.

Speaking of things working, is there anything that I liked about the movie? Well, I did enjoy the opening scene showcasing the Smurf village. I also liked Jonathan Winters' performance of Papa Smurf, being that his was the most believable of all the Smurfs. But the big positive note that made the movie work was Hank Azaria's performance as Gargamel. His acting in this movie was bad, no doubt about that, but it was so funny to watch you can't help but laugh at it. Other than that, "The Smurfs" really has nothing going for it.

Overall, "The Smurfs" is a poor effort from Hollywood to cash in on a valuable franchise. To me, there wasn't enough potential to keep me interested. As far as summer movies go, this one smurfed up big time.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes
6 August 2011
This is essentially a B movie dressed up with an expensive production budget and an A-list cast. The events are simplistic and predictable, with nary a plot twist in the entire 105 minutes. Don't get me wrong, in spite of the predictability, the movie is still entertaining as all get out. As the action unfolds we clearly witness a detailed evolution that leads to a climatic battle. The buildup is beautifully done. The machinations are far fetched, but the intellectual advances of the chimps are presented in a most credible fashion. Not only will you accept a chimp could acquire super intelligence, but you'll cheer their ascension to power.

The tale's allure is thanks in no small part to the principal chimpanzee's emotionally engaging portrayal. Dispensing with makeup applied to human actors that has been the method in past installments, this reboot relies on major strides in computer technology to create the simian characters. The star chimpanzee, Caesar, is a brilliant use of CGI created from a motion-capture performance by Andy Serkis. Renowned as Gollum from The Lord of the Rings trilogy, he's crucial to the enjoyment of this science fiction. I'd actually go as far to say the full picture's success rests with him. It's a wonderfully expressive depiction. Caesar has an emotional progression that is comprehensive. A revolt becomes logical because his emotional trajectory is so believable. We truly mind what happens to this central figure since we're emotionally invested in his growth. Even a simple scene where he corrects the way Will's father holds a fork, is remarkably poignant.

The First Avenger
23 July 2011
A spectacular comic-book adventure movie that features a muscular, red blooded, all-American hero, Steve Rogers a.k.a. Captain America, he is brilliantly played by Chris Evans who is so perfectly casted in the role, he captures the character's earnestness and humility, as well as his old-fashioned gung ho spirit and patriotism. Joe Johnson's direction is right on target, and he gives us a truly exciting and meticulously crafted motion picture, the story is set in 1942 where a short, skinny, asthmatic 98-pound weakling from Brooklyn, named Steve Rogers has tried to enlist to fight in "World War II, but has been rejected numerous, unlike his best friend "Bucky Barnes, nicely played by Sabastian Stan who has been shipping off to the battlefields in Europe. Rogers is undersized but has the heart of a lion, he hates bullies, and never back away or gives up in a fight, Rogers volunteers to participate in an super-soldier experiment run by Dr. Abraham Erkstine, superbly played by Stanley Tucci, he gets pumped up with a secret bulkification serum and "Vita" rays, resulting in a full-fledge physical transformation, Rogers emerges from a metal cocoon a muscle-bound 6'2 foot hulking man with super-human strength.

The winner is the quality of beliefs, not their quality kolichestvo.Pobezhdaet convictions, not their quantity.
10 July 2011
Frankly it's sad, and at the same time happy. I simply do not belong to those who have always responded with a special enthusiasm for any of the movie franchise about a young wizard. However, I am glad that we always had to consciously approach the fact of its existence. Much has happened over the years. For some of us have been ups and downs in relation to the part of Harry Potter, for someone not. We are alone. Such stories - only a sign of how this loneliness we are trying to escape. When there is that it is able to unite us, and the same eyes we are able to watch the same story. Harry and his friends always reminded very much of themselves, because of two things - simplicity and good nature. Also, like any other person, we grow, mature, and it all happens under the influence of other factors. We observe and listen, exactly the same as the one when a little boy, in the course of years became a man. He had fears, and there were mysteries. He sought to solve them, and overcome all sorts of difficulties. He was tough, and friends were always glad to help. Is this not a reflection of our life in certain stages of her? Istoriya3D finally reached the tipping point that, when there was absolutely no childhood, and adulthood appeared views of the surrounding events. No more compromises, and as it turned out, it had to Yates to clear better film3D Potteriana.

Finals begin at the same place and finished last. Harry continues to search and destroy krestrazhem, revealing a truth long after the other. Each of the stories of how wonderful flower blooms on the quality of its on-screen incarnation, and this against the background of the war, that this time reached the very heart of the School of Wizardry - Hogwarts. So we have not seen it, and now never see. For many viewers Hogwarts was a kind of contact point values, which were always presented in the form of friendship and nastoyatelstva. And no more delays, no unnecessary chatter. Only Harry, only fidelity, and pursuing all the destruction. You can refer yourself to whichever of the categories of viewers, but the fact remains a fact for all - "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" is the perfect combination of language and the magic of cinema, so perfect a form of which is sought or one year.

Yates throws us into an even more oppressive and heavy atmosphere with all the consequent seriousness from the first seconds. Conversation with Kryukohvatom each evokes the idea of just how significant was the approach to creating images of goblins, only gaining full speed as soon as we find ourselves in a bank vault. Excellent work on the sound makes itself felt, balancing between the absolute silence, drama and suspense.

Yet in one part of the franchise was not represented in such a grand magic number, as here. If someone had thought of her lack of a rare and often repeated occurrence, there is an argument not able to find a way for his being. Scenes from the attack on the school and a further battle in its territory amazing imagination, especially by the scope with which this material came to the creators. Protection of Hogwarts gorgeous scenes extras are told by their size, and many characters appear in a surprisingly strong and significant way.

The entire color stunning British school of acting punches for most of the scenes, making us even more insight to treat them. Finally, the record screen time was Ralph Fiennes, whose "you know who" the destruction of each of the next Horcrux is even more direct correspondence notions of darkness and gloom. Neville takes off from their shoulders image of a modest and humble guy, and gives your episodes live energy of goodness and faith. Home trio strongly demonstrates a complete renunciation of those pranks that are brought before us in various amounts for previous years. Romantic issues are themselves short, direct and confident answers. This is not the children we once knew. Now it's two guys, behind which the power and courage, and a real woman, able to charm anyone looking right at it man. However, I think, a hero of the imagery comes to Severus. It is starting to deploy its history, it's not just Harry. It is not just the bar, which surely holds Yates first hour and a half. It is much more than that.

Severus makes history more than ever to penetrate the gap and in the emotional space in which Alan Rickman is calling us. Beginning to emerge as answers to many protracted and complex issues. What happens immediately taking shape full epics, which is so easily dissolved, knowing how long we were going to this. And the last conversation with Harry Dambusom only emphasizes the last time that a tipping point, when the whole world that was built many years around one person starts to go away from under his feet. Saying goodbye to them, leaving alone with the problem itself throughout his life that he so carefully prepared.

In the finals can be found inconsistencies with the book, but their role does not affect the plot by a radical way, and all the changes made by Yeats, were personally approved by Rowling. Staged ending only emphasizes the importance and drama of the whole junction, causing the heroes to face any one time with each other. Two opposing world, the best colors and shades, with unique emotional content and the history of origins.

Just supporting each other we are capable of much. Unsurpassed finale unmatched history.

Goodbye, Harry.

Adrenaline
2 July 2011
On the screen appeared a long-awaited sequel to one of the world's most popular kinofranshiz - grand battle with robots and many more huge extraterrestrial organisms are closely intertwined in the new film by Michael Bay "Transformers: The Dark Side of the Moon." This project has experienced a lot, making his way to the screens through a long and thorny path of very large troubles, at least remember the conflict Megan Fox and Mr. Beem, in which she left the project or the protests of one of the most commercially successful directors against converting the picture in 3D, which As already noticeable among U.S. television viewers have already begun to lose popularity. But the long and arduous wait viewers and fans of robots come true - now at last it was time to see one of the most ambitious projects of the year, if not - the most ambitious.

After the critics pretty well received the first part of the franchise, and then smashed to pieces a sequel (which turned into a very rich harvest "Razzie"), Michael Bay has promised that trikvel get better. And now, seeing the creation of new director ya3D can confidently say - Mr. Bay entirely kept his promise. The main advantage here is a very good and coherent script written by Ehren Kruger, this time alone - without colleagues to create the second part of Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. Now the script, as compared with the second film, refined almost to the smallest detail, there are no inconsistencies and gaps. It becomes evident that received "Golden Raspberry" for the script to "Revenge of the Fallen" Ehren Kruger rehabilitated.

As a result, the script came from a terrific story, perhaps the most dramatic and tense, compared with the previous parts. The third part of the history of robots almost completely riddled with treachery, which enhances the drama.

On changes in the cast will not talk much - because of the well-known conflict with Megan Fox, director of the film took place girls photomodel Sam Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, igra3D which was the debut in the film. Of course, I, like many, leaving Megan caused disappointment, but began an acting career looked great fashion model. Only wish Miss Huntington-Whiteley successful career in kino3D.

What about the other actors. The film played beautifully Shia LaBeouf, Tyrese Gibson, Josh Duhamel and John Turturro, who played roles in the film with great enthusiasm. Also noteworthy is a good game and Patrick Dempsey, Kevin Dunne, who appeared in the film with a very respectable beard.

Film3D also boasts stunning visual effects, excellent operator and a very high quality soundtrack. Feel free to say that the special effects in the third part of the most powerful and spectacular than the previous two films. Thanks to them, in great detail and look spectacular giant Decepticons (for example, Shokueyv) and the Autobots.

By carrier-art Amir M. Wet is as good as the work of two previous statements in the "Transformers" - Mitchell Amundsen and Ben Seresinu. Some were even taken priemy3D powerful. A longtime composer Steve Jablonsky offered to the audience (not the first time), another stunning soundtrack. With music by the previous parts were quite a few in common, all the tracks are new and sounds great. In places the music is smooth and quiet, but mostly exciting and almost making their way to the bone.

Also, the film contains a lot of humor, which is mainly small roll in the Autobots and quite a few characters. Quite comical watching some of the characters (Dutch, for example). Is enough funny scenes, it is worth recalling at least the scene in the bathroom with Sam and Jerry (Ken Jeong).

"Transformers 3: The Dark Side of the Moon" - an incredible and breathtaking spectacle, captivating fiction thriller with a very good drama as well as a humorous element. Very bright, dynamic action, which claims to be one of the most exciting blockbusters of the summer season. View the next part of the franchise of robots presented Iamromanov-a lasting impression and a sea of delight, and conformity assessment:

James Bond & Johnny English
25 June 2011
That these two names can be characterized by the greatest super agent 80% of the film. Naturally Bond - is a real agent Fin MakMintl and unusual Inglish - a tow truck Maitre. It is usually assumed that the sequel - a rather bitter word, since they are unsuccessful, try to go to the past glory of parts, and just a quickie. I can not say the same about this cartoon, but still the first part was better. And the main character this time is not lightning, apparently by his friend liked the writers, because even a single cartoon about it is.

In the wheelbarrow was morality, and so bright, not worn out. Here you have a lot in recent years have seen films about the choice between wealth, fame, recognition, and real, genuine friendship? Personally, I am not one. Well, continued - it is the purest spy thriller, only slightly seasoned friendship of the main characters, and thoughts about the destination. Although it's too bad, the summer after all.

Interesting question, I came almost immediately after the start of the session. Lightning McQueen took command of the first part of the finals for only one race? Now it has different mechanics or just dub is not quite correct? And yes, sad news for fans of Doc Hudson, undefeated, it will not. Why, you will learn in the first five minutes of the film. To be honest, I was hoping to continue to see plenty of racing, as in the first part I did not have them, and "lucky" they are really more. On the whole one. Well, what do you want from the spy thriller? Secret spy gadgets, shooting, car chases, explosions and even murder. But not racing. I even remember Rush Hour (tour of Japan), and the film Johnny Inglish (almost all of the master, including the final). Incidentally, in the cinema around me (and many before me, and after, both the left and right) were children of kindergarten age 5-6. And they did not like. Not a children's cartoon apparently unsuccessful, although a lot of funny moments.

The quality of pictures can say a lot, but why? After all, it's Pixar and Disney, they are always on top. The scenario is not taken out, but the picture is simply amazing. Soundtrack matched perfectly. It is mainly noticeable in the scenes of battles and races, which is quite natural and logical. But it also happens in quiet moments, the music makes the astonishing skill of composers.

As a result, for an incredible picture, sparkling humor, spy gadgets and a good soundtrack put a solid seven.

ps: in the credits is a special thanks to Steve Jobs, I wonder what he did?

Green Lantern (2011)
7/10
ringed superpowers
19 June 2011
Before, we discuss the film, I suggest the mystery out of the 'superhero':

Flies, but not Superman ...

Light, but not Iron Man ...

Green, but do not Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ...

With a lantern, but not under the eye ...

And if you're reading these lines, omitting the title - you already know the answer. Well, to get acquainted with new shoots adaptations of comics is not superfluous to learn the fate of another defender of the Earth (and not only) - Green Lantern.

Especially pay attention to this movie, because the green light of previously unknown on the feature film characters (cartoons completely about him and his team participated in the animated Justice League does not count) our view is a colorful adaptation of the old kind of comics, like and distinguished themselves by the same token, what make us happy, and other products in the same genre - namely, super-powered, humor, fantastic graphics and morality, "the more force, the greater responsibility" (here the same meaning incorporated in the phrase "In the darkness of night by the light day of evil does not hide from me "and so on oath), but this time a priori familiar cocktails, adorned from top to the new face (and a new superpower attributes), but within a fully justifies all of the above expectations, simply can not fail to please either comics fan or viewer just decided to rest a couple of hours in front of this spectacle.

And we have to admit that the spectacle of it in terms of graphics my hopes were positive. Beginning with a flight through the cosmos is fascinating, and immediately sets up the audience on the future joy to the eye. In this respect, the contrast of our familiar human world with the scale of affordable Green Lantern came in handy. You look at earthly events and see the movie as a movie (at least initially - to master the power is nothing special even in flights of fighters I have not seen), but when the action moves before our eyes and open universe and extraterrestrial beings, the picture turns from reality to fantasy not the high quality animation, computer game or something, but the picture is very, very entertaining. Needless to say that 3D, though not particularly felt in terms of emission objects in the auditorium, still gone only for the benefit of the project (type of space and the Green Lanterns speak for themselves).

Special mention deserves the hero's costume - when you look at the screenshots / footage seems that the actor's head stuck to the suit, and the combination turned out far better, but on screen, whether it's terrestrial planet or fight Lantern - the main character looks great, with no contrast or the combined effect of filming. People from other worlds with strange faces turned at least good quality. And as the green light flashes and the ring of objects materizovannye imaginative characters not only create the effect of the previously unseen ability, but also look great in a frame. Although the main villain Parallax tucheobrazny and convert the hunchback with a psychic from the Earth looked like a much more modest ...

At the suggestion of extraterrestrial crap -

Flies around the world, our new hero

Drafted into the ranks of the Lantern

By the will of the ring - not at his will ...

With the fear of battle, to save the girl -

See Ryan Reynolds - do not let me down!

The plot revolves around a guy named Hal Jordan, who acquired an unexpected ring, which Frodo did not dream any, became a superhero, but for the happiness of this did not even ask. About how he mastered the force, and I started using it and says it's a movie. At the same time and found the story of Lanterns in general and in the earthly life of the protagonist in particular. Humor, fantasy, relationships, and a couple of thoughts about fear / will on demand. In the course of history itself, whose development is determined before the start of the movie, I want to mention that I personally did not have the finale - in fact on the face of this long and diverse singles final regular collision happened revealing spectacular and ambitious, but on the personal impressions of some smallish ... Although remember genre predecessors - and they then great timing, too, do not stand out.

Finally focus on the cast. Ryan Reynolds looked just fine - in the course of the film not once, not twice, not even three times as apt glad this is the choice of the actor on a central role. Blake Lively played a standard girlfriend of the hero - just type as old as the world of superheroes, but the muzzle of the performer - a new and more on the character can not say anything. When looking at the list of founders are still a couple of familiar names, at least some familiar faces that made good under zagrimerovali aliens, so much so that I am personally not one and not guilty. Peter Sarsgaard was ... well, just not bad, especially with regard to external changes.

Result: as expected - in fact, another brilliant film adaptation of comic book with all its successful tradition of humor to science fiction and Bravo theme of struggle against evil, and externally - a little more original with a new kind of hero picture, green color and special effects which could not be better approached another excellent entertainment show.
